Happy 10th Birthday Lawn Fawn!

Hi everyone! So today in my craft room, I was listening to all the Coronavirus epidemic...It is really getting very scary out there...not that I wasn't concerned...but now it's crazy to see how people haven't taken it very serious. Meanwhile, I needed to make something fun and colorful. I recently received the Cloud Stencil from Lawn Fawn and I'm in LOVE with it! This card was inspired by Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #73 Birthday! Happy 10th Birthday!

I took a picture with the green background and with my normal white background.

Charmin Bear

Hi! Good Morning! Today, Im sharing with you a cute card inspired by the TP hoarding. I recently made a card with a tiny roll of TP. This card I wanted to make the bear in the woods with a charming TP pack and using little TP stamps from Lawn Fawn. The sentiment on the cloud was printed up on the computer with two different fonts and colors.

I used a swirly tree and birch tree from Memory Box. Yes that is real TP around the tree and on the bottom. I cut a single piece .5 inch and tore it in pieces. It was the leftover piece fro my prior card. Remember those days when people TP the trees...LOL

The adorable bear is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. The background is windy background from Lawn Fawn too.

Hard to see but the Charmin was printed up on the computer and it has a clear plastic on top so it looks like its still in the wrapper...

Happy Easter

Hi! Hope everyone is having a great day! I was inspired today by these photos from Double D Challenge Spring. I love the wreath and and the pink flowers. I have had this bow done for a really long time and finally placed it on a card...YAY!

Loving the adorable bunnies from Impression Obsession and I paired it up with a cheery lynn design die cut "Happy Easter" I die cut it out in white and then die cut it out in foam it give it a raised look.

Hard to see but there is some glitter brush on the white flowers and sentiment.

The inspiration...thank you!

Mom

Hi, TGIF....well I'm on another 4 day weekend from the hospital. It has been slow in surgery and with only urgent cases going on right now. I hope everyone is staying at home and keeping well. Meanwhile, I made this card for my mother. I love her so much. I decided to use the inspirational colors from this week's Color Throwdown #586.

Lately, I have been loving to make these 5 x 5 inch cards and going a bit crazy with layers....

A closer view...the pearl pearls are liquid pearls...much faster and tedious...except you have to patient and let it dry a bit....lol

The awesome colors....

So Sorry....

Hi! Well, one more post till this upcoming weekend. I have been off work since Friday morning due to elective surgeries have been postponed. Tomorrow i will be going to the hospital to see what has been happening. I was inspired to make this woodland card from The Card Concept Challenge Woodland Nursery #131. I originally had a title different sketch and was planning to add more animals....but I realized that I only had some from Lawn fawn and with all the foliage it just didn't fit together.

I knew I wanted to used woodgrain background and the tree stump. Then lots of greenery and tan flowers. I realize now after the fact that I tend to use earth tines for sympathy cards. So I decided to add one to my stash...hope I don't need to use it anytime soon....

A closer view...

The inspiration was woodgrain background, and the deer. I consider this a shabby chic/vintage style because of the several layers and distressing edges.

Be well and safe...

Mother's Day Wishes

Good Morning! Today I'm sharing with you a card that I made for my mother for this upcoming Mothers Day. She loves reds and pink so I made this pink card using beautiful flowers from Prima. The sentiment is from Verve before it closed down....miss you! Trying to keep busy during this time of social isolation....what are you doing?

I wanted to make this card shabby chic so I added pearls and some cloth lace. I also distressed the papers and my mother loves cats so I had a tiny die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs. It is hard to see but it has glitter on the cat o give it an extra shine.

I live these leaves from Creative Expressions. I think this time I made my lines a bit straighter too! LOL

Love This Place

Hello! This morning, I wanted to make something using the beautiful colors from Color Throwdown #585. When I seen these colors earlier this week, all I could picture was the beach. I LOVE the beach, it gives me peace and serenity. We all could use some of that right now.

I originally was planning to make some flowers by bringing out my old Heartfelt Creations stamps...Unfortunately it was a disaster....So I brought out some of my old prima flowers. I think it worked out for the better! LOL

I been inking using hybrid inks from scrapbook.com. I'm so glad I inked the matching color because I inked the background first and then went looking for matching flowers....whew.

A closer view! Thanks for the inspiration....

Have a great day!
Stay well and home if you can!

Until It's Gone!

Good Morning! Im sharing today a card that was inspired by all the TP craziness out there. Let me start off by saying by no means am I being disrespectful to anyone out there. I didn't hoard any TP myself but when I went to look for some... since I was on the last few rolls, it sure was hard to find. Luckily, this morning my hubby and I went early to the local grocery store and there was plenty. So if you live in Maricopa, AZ and need to get some I would happily send you in the right direction.

I seen this sign for a bathroom on Pinterest and just had to use the sentiment. The tiny TP was made from 1 inch of TP and one sheet. No wasting here. I planned on keeping this card black and white...but then I thought of "smells like roses" hence the red roses. I think this card can be used for someone who is grieving too or just something funny after all this craziness stops.

A closer view....typed sentiment up on the computer and again by no means I don't mean to disrespect  anyone out there.

Here are the sketches...used the last one on the right.

Happy Birthday To You

Good Morning! Well, today Im sharing with you a shabby chic birthday card using some old Graphic 45 papers, die cuts from Dress My Craft, Cheery Lynn Designs, Rubbernecker, Heartfelt Creations, and some flowers.

The old vintage clock was from some really old paper and I fussy cut it out.

Lots of distressing and some of the flowers were bought flowers and some I made to match the blue paper. Tiny butterflies with a little bling.

I Carrot 'Bout You

Hello! Today Im sharing with you a new card inspired by the new Spellbinders carrot die cut. I don't have it and I couldn't wait to get one either. So I decided to just make my own template and fussy cut it out. Yes it was a little bit of work but in the end it came out like I hoped it would....

I seen a clipart carrot and made it larger...around 4 inches.... This is a 5 x 5 card.
Lots of die cuts and the papers are from a summer collection by Graphic 45.

The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn...heat embossed in white....

A closer view....as I looked the carrot is not perfect but I guess real carrots are not either. LOL

Lots of layering and distressing..... I love these beautiful flowers from Prima too.

I had to add some lace and pretty Easter eggs.

The sketch...Thx Julee
