Happy Birthday

Hi sharing a new card that actually started off  from a sketch and then took a life on its own. I was in the mood for another shabby chic card using these beautiful flowers that I recently bought from Recollections. Combined with the gorgeous papers from 49 market.

More distressing of the edges and I added some brick gesso, lace ribbon and the teal ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

A closer view...LOVE LOVE LOVE the clear bubbles...I can't stop using them! LOL

POP

Hello again! Welcome back to my fun card that I made for Father's Day. I used all kinds of die cuts from different companies and a few old stamps. I had envisioned a fun movie themed card for a while. It came out just as I hoped....

The candy is an old stamp set....The soda can was from an clipart image online...I sized it to 1.3 inches...I made the Movie Clapperboard from a square, signo white pen. stars, and white quilling strip.

The popcorn was layered many times...It is the Lawn Fawn bubbles...I seen it on the lawn fawn blog and had to try it out!

The tickets are Cheery Lynn Designs...had them for years and finally brought them out!

Vacation Time

Hi! Happy Friday! Today I sharing a card inspired by the Card Concept # 157 Vacation Time. Also Double D Challenge Signs of Summer. I was inspired by the different colors, bear, wood, fishing bobs, canoe, oars, trees and the water. I brought out my old Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts and the cute Elizabeth Craft Designs bear with fish.

The sentiment is from Lawn Fawn and I just stamped it on the wood sign. The pond is also from LF.

My inspiration! This is a clean and layered style.

We Belong Together

Hi, sharing today a fun card for a sketch challenge again over at scrapbook.com. I originally had rainbow colors and I just didn't like the way it was turning out. So I started over. I knew I have been wanting to use these cute cookies from Doodlebug. so ta da! Lawn Fawn has the perfect milk and cookie jar to go with it too.

The cute sentiment works great....

Lifesaver

Hi! Sharing a card that I made yesterday for a challenge over at scrapbook.com and Cupcake Challenge #521 Red White and Blue. I love everything nautical and the 4th of July happens to be my favorite holiday of the year! This card is for my sister because we really have gotten close this past year even though we are 1800 miles apart. She has been a lifesaver to me....and well...since she calls me a crab because of my zodiac sign....I thought this would be perfect! LOL

I used some of my CLD die cuts and lots of chipboard from My Minds Eye.

I loved the nautical dark blue stripped paper too...

The inspiration colors....

Ocean/Sea You Soon... Lawn Fawnatics #102 All Things Ocean

Hi, I know it is getting late, but I had to share tonight a card that I worked on for most of the day! It is for this week's Lawn Fawnatics #102 All Things Ocean. Lots of stamps and die cuts here....I seriously have a problem with layering and layering....LOL. However, I was inspired by a fun puzzle online with lots of layering and bright colors. I knew I wanted to use the castle in the center of this slimline card.

I love the "ocean shell-fish" lots of that going on her too.

A closer view with the cute crab on the castle! My sister says it is me because I was born in July....sign of the crab! LOL

The inspiration this week! Thank you!

Donut You Know?

Hi Happy Sunday! Today, Im sharing a rainbow colored card that I was inspired from a facebook Lawn Fawn addict challenge. The challenge was to use a rainbow. I didn't want to make another traditional rainbow card...so I decided to bring out the cute rainbow papers from Lawn Fawn.

It is a donut box. I seen something similar online and I thought of cutting a window out but then I decided to let it be closed and then a surprise to open.

Yummy donuts inside!

Last minute I decided to add a magnet for the closure....

Of course I had to use the iridescent bubbles! Love them soooooo much!
