Red, White, & Blue

Hi Welcome back to my blog! Today on Memorial Day I wanted to make a patriotic card inspired by The Card Concept #176 Red, White, & Blue. I was inspired by the 4 colors, and the flag. I have had these stickers for years and it sure made this card come together nicely.

Here is my entry...I used Divinity Designs patriotic paper, the truck stamp/die cut and the beautiful silver foil sentiments on black. I absolutely love these.

Here is a side view....

Happy Birthday

Hi sharing a new card that actually started off  from a sketch and then took a life on its own. I was in the mood for another shabby chic card using these beautiful flowers that I recently bought from Recollections. Combined with the gorgeous papers from 49 market.

More distressing of the edges and I added some brick gesso, lace ribbon and the teal ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon.

A closer view...LOVE LOVE LOVE the clear bubbles...I can't stop using them! LOL

Be Mine

Hi! Happy INSD International Scrapbook Day! It is late in the day here in AZ but I was working on this layout all day long. It is my daughter and her fiancĂ© at the time they were going on a quick trip to CA. I printed up this picture years ago...and finally back to scrapping again after 5 years.

I made the bee hive with an oval and cut in half and made strips...inked up the edges and glued it down to the other side....The bees were online images and I colored the yellow with a copic marker. I LOVE the Olivers die cuts because it is so easy to make your own titles...oh and never run out of A, E , I, O or U...

Used Prima and 49 market flowers..You can also see the tiny dandelions I made tiny sunflowers with yellow copic and a black dot in the center.

The swirls from off the bees are from Lawn Fawn Butterfly Kisses

I had to use some cute buttons from my stash and ribbon.

A Cabin Merry Christmas

Hi Im sharing today this cabin, shabby, vintage Christmas card using the beautiful cozy colors from this week's Color Throwdown #616. These are my colors during Christmas time too. Lots of layers of die cuts and I used the red bling on the berries.

I recently bought all this ribbon from RRR and absolutely love it! Plus it was the perfect match to the darker reds.

Naughty List

Hi! Hope everyone is having a great day! Well today I was able to make something new for the holidays, using some sassy sentiments. I recently bought some Doodlebug stickers and I also had to have this scroll die cut from Hero Arts. There are so many other ideas for these scrolls.

I just loved the candy cane paper and the peppermints are so much fun!

The red ribbon bow is was a perfect touch for a gift like card.

Merry Christmas

Good Morning! Happy Sunday! Im getting ready to start to make new cards for the upcoming holiday season. I was on vacation this past week and so no playing in my scrap room. However, Im back and ready to start creating again.

My sister in law loves the cabin look so I thought this might be the perfect card to send to her. Using lots of different die cutting companies.
