Love The Ring

Hi Happy Sunday. So today Im sharing a new layout of my daughter and her fiancé at the time. Im finally getting some Mojo back to scrap these photos. They have been married for 4 years....Yes Im a bit behind...

These were the photos that we chose for the Save The Date. Their theme was a rustic/ vintage with blue jeans and shabby chic....wedding photos will be scrapped soon.

Originally the title was going to be The Ring....but then I added this banner with the word loved stamped on it....The banner from Our Daily Bread and the sentiment letters from Lawn Fawn and Donna Salazar.

Another cluster of flowers...wish I had some chipboard for the swirls....In the future...

A Cabin Merry Christmas

Hi Im sharing today this cabin, shabby, vintage Christmas card using the beautiful cozy colors from this week's Color Throwdown #616. These are my colors during Christmas time too. Lots of layers of die cuts and I used the red bling on the berries.

I recently bought all this ribbon from RRR and absolutely love it! Plus it was the perfect match to the darker reds.

Tool Bag for Father's Day

Hi! Good morning! Today Im sharing with you this fun tool bag using the beautiful die cuts from Our Daily Bread Timeless tote and tool set. I have had these die cuts for years and my girlfriend made my an adorable bag for Christmas. The measurements are 5" x 2" x 4" so it is really a nice size to put all kinds of goodies inside.

Here is a side view....I love the mesh sides...Most of the examples I seen are for cute girly bags but I decided to make mine for a man.

I used the mesh side for more pockets in the back too.

The front pocket has room for a gift card or a note with a magnetic closure.

Welcome Baby

Hello! I hope everyone had a nice weekend and Easter Sunday. I whipped this card together for a colleague of mine who is having a baby boy very soon. I usually buy a gift but with all the stores closed I just decided to get her a gift card.

I used Our Daily Bread baby onesie with the cute bear on the bib. The clouds and the quilted backdrop are from Lawn fawn.

No flowers...but had to add some ribbon and baby blue pearls.

Wishing You A Blessed Easter

Hi! Sharing today a shabby chic/vintage Easter card that I was inspired by The Card Concept #132. I have had this cross from when I used to design for Heartfelt Creations years ago. I loved a card that was made by Andrea Ewen and so I had to lift it. Thank you! Different flowers, sentiment and papers though. I chose peach/pink because it is my aunt favorite color.

A side view....

I also layered a sheer ribbon around the cross. Its a soft extra accent....

The inspirational photo....

Mom

Hi, TGIF....well I'm on another 4 day weekend from the hospital. It has been slow in surgery and with only urgent cases going on right now. I hope everyone is staying at home and keeping well. Meanwhile, I made this card for my mother. I love her so much. I decided to use the inspirational colors from this week's Color Throwdown #586.

Lately, I have been loving to make these 5 x 5 inch cards and going a bit crazy with layers....

A closer view...the pearl pearls are liquid pearls...much faster and tedious...except you have to patient and let it dry a bit....lol

The awesome colors....

I Carrot 'Bout You

Hello! Today Im sharing with you a new card inspired by the new Spellbinders carrot die cut. I don't have it and I couldn't wait to get one either. So I decided to just make my own template and fussy cut it out. Yes it was a little bit of work but in the end it came out like I hoped it would....

I seen a clipart carrot and made it larger...around 4 inches.... This is a 5 x 5 card.
Lots of die cuts and the papers are from a summer collection by Graphic 45.

The sentiments are from Lawn Fawn...heat embossed in white....

A closer view....as I looked the carrot is not perfect but I guess real carrots are not either. LOL
