Hap-Pea Birthday Sweet Pea Lawn Fawnatics #48 Inspired By A Book, Movie, Song

Hi Hap-Pea Saturday!! I have been thinking of new idea for the adorable "Be Hap-Pea" stamp set and die cuts. Then I started thinking about this week's Lawn Fawnatics #48 Inspired By A Book Movie, Song. I already had two cards for this challenge. However, The Princess and The Pea was stuck in my head. So here is my version of the book.

Once again I used several stamps and die cuts from Lawn Fawn. The base of the bed and all the mattresses are from the "double slider surprise" I used the inside of the slider for my frame and layers of the mattress using the rectangle. I doodled the inside with a black marker. One of the layers in yellow, I used "quilted backdrop" like a quilted blanket,

The princess was made using "mermaid for you" and the adorable "little bundle" dress. The box, dolly, bear and train were all from "holiday helpers" The blankets and birds were also from the "little bundle" set. On the to I used "puffy cloud borders" and the bottom I used "stitched hillside border" Of course, I had to use "stitched rectangles"

Lets not forget the NEW "be hap-pea" that were so fun to make! I know in the story there is only one pea.....but I just had to add lots of them throughout. This card will probably be for my daughter next year. Her beloved grandfather used to call her "princess peanut" and the song at her wedding for father /daughter was "sweet pea". Good memories.

Here is the inspiration! Thanks so much! All patterned papers are from Lawn Fawn too!

Hope you enjoyed! Lots of Love went into this card but I'm Hap-Pea with the results!
Have a great day!

Welcome Lawn Fawnatics Challenge #48 Inspired By A Book, Movie, Song

Hi Welcome back to another fun Lawn Fawn inspired card for this week's Lawn Fawnatics #48 Inspired by a book, movie , song. This card is all about "Jack and the Beanstalk" I had fun making this card today even thought it took over 6 hours to make. LOL Mostly because I wasn't sure on the colors I wanted to use today.

I made Jack from 2 die cuts, "Mermaid Man "Mermaid for You" and Scarecrow" "Happy Harvest" The "duck/goose" "Rub A Dub Dub" with the Golden Eggs  from "Happy Harvest". I used the tree stumps from "So owlsome" The castle is from "Life is Good" The adorable barn and cow are from "Critters on the Farm" "Simple puffy clouds" in white blue and grey for the tree tops. I love the "Grassy Hillside Borders and of course the "stitched rectangles"

Last but not least, is the famous Beanstalk made with "Happy Harvest" I actually layered it on top of each other but I guess it didn't need tone so tall. I love the fabulous "Gotta Have Gingham" Papers too. The sentiment is from the NEW "Be Hap-Pea" collection. I will using it soon!

The inspiration! Thank you!

Thanks again for stopping by today!
Have a Great Day!

Adventure Awaits Inside

Hi Welcome back today to my blog! I recently joined the The Library Challenge's and today I seen the new book had changed to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Challenge #19. I knew I wanted to make a door card. I had forgotten the old size that I made for my fishing card...so I just made new dimensions.

Here is the front of the card. Pretty simple... 5.5 tall x 8.75 long and scored at 2 1/8 on both ends. The door pieces are all distress ink and I printed up the Narnia font from my computer. On the top I added a Martha Stewart punch. The door knobs are black bling.

Here is the inside....Lots of Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts and a Tim Holtz tree. The hillside border is from Lawn Fawn....one of my favorite die cuts. I kept one side blank for my own personal sentiment.

A closer view....
Thanks for stopping by today

Good Morning! I have to share with you today some more fun stamps and die cuts from Maker's Movement. I had to lift the amazing scene from Nancy Krueger. Thanks for the beautiful inspiration! I don't own the Lawn Fawn fairy stamp set but all the mountains, grass, clouds, sentiment, flowers, treehouse and fairies here are from Maker's Movement.

I used several Nuvo Markers from scrapbook.com

The lift/inspiration! Thank You!

Good Things

Hi Happy NSD! I was in the mood for flowers today. I wanted to use this month's Viva La Verve May 2018 sketch too. I look forward to the new sketches every month. Thx Julee! I was also inspired by this week's Cookie Challenge #93. Love the fairies and I thought I would try my coloring skills again...LOL

The papers are from Lawn Fawn and I die cut the the flowers and colored them to match the colors o the image. Gala Glitz in the centers. The sentiment is from Verve stamps. The banner, larger flowers and flourish are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used my favorite Martha Stewart punch in the center.

The beautiful sketch!

Cookie Challenge #93...The green was my inspiration color too.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great scrappy weekend!

Driftwood (tan), Sparrow (brown), Butternut (gold), Petals (pink), Sage (green), Bluejay (blue), Pomegranate (burgundy), & Midnight (black). And just like the Mix'd Media Inx, the containers have a flexible base (for a comfy grip) and a clear lid with a lip that lets you stack the pads.

These new CHOX are fast drying, have LOADS of vibrant color, are great for stamping, edge distressing, coloring, and can be used in layers for blending colors (watch the technique video for day 1). To give you an idea of how much pigment is in these inks, you can actually mix the re-inkers with a matte acrylic medium to use instead of or with acrylic paint!
Come back each day from Nov 27th - Nov 29th for projects, ideas, technique videos and PRIZES!
Today’s Bloggers:
I've got pics of the prizes we are giving away each day below:

  Day1  Day2  Day3

Each day of our party we will have TWO winners! Each prize will be a Mix'd Media Inx Chox pad and the matching re-inker. To be entered into our random drawings, leave a comment and add your name to the inlinkz for each day of our party! The winners will be announced during the first week of December.
And here is my project:
So I honor the New chox...I made a fairytale card.
Wishing you sure get some of these fabulous chalks.
I used lots of Donna's products for this card as you can see...
It sure was easy to do.

The blue jean paper, roses,  greenery and little fairies
are part of the same paper from
"storybook collection"
The beautiful roses in blue and pink are "rose creations" and using the new "chox"
in "bluejay' and "petals" colors. I added little buttons in the centers.
I just love the little swirls for cards too! They are part of the "pockets & swirls"
diecuts designed by Donna for Spellbinders.

The oval in the background was white cardstock stamped with
"drawn rose corner" and embossed. I then added more of the "chox" in "petals"
I distressed the edges of the blue jean paper with my "zutter", it makes it super fast
to distress those edges. :)

Hope you stop by Donna's Blog for the "Launch Party"
Have a great day!
xoxo
