Graphic 45 "Communique" NSD May Challenge

Hello everyone! Happy Memorial Day!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful day and remembering all of those who gave us freedom here in the United States of America. Since, I was lucky enough to have the National Holiday off from work, I was hoping to make a new layout using these beautiful papers from Graphic 45 called "Communique" I was lucky to be chosen to win them from scrapbook.com this month for NSD For The Love Of Crafting Challenge. So I thought I would submit this layout for NSD May Challenge at Graphic 45.

This layout is a recent photo my Roxanne and it has been several years since I last scrapbooked her pictures. She still is a beauty to me, which makes scrapbooking it easier....These papers were perfect because she has some of the same expressions but mainly because she is coming home this June 1 and it has been month's since I last seen her. We chat either via text or occasionally on the phone...hence "Communique"

The red flowers I made using a daisy die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs and I added the little pieces of chipboard in the centers. The black die cut is also from Cheery Lynn Designs called Royal Scandinavian Doily. The tan flowers are from Prima and they were a perfect match to the colors on the Graphic 45 papers.
I added some ZVA black bling throughout.

Lots of chipboard and stickers....Under the word stickers I layered my own chipboard.

More chipboard pieces! Super fun!!!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Also thank you Graphic 45 for making such beautiful papers that has been my inspiration to not only make new projects , but a NEW Scrapbook Layout that is way overdo!
Have a wonderful day!

This Hope... With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a new card inspired by this week's challenge with Cheery Lynn Designs? This week's challenge Red White and Blue is right up my favorite upcoming holiday, The Fourth of July! You may have noticed that I'm still on beach mode and well I suppose nautical is close enough. LOL This card can be used for that favorite man in your life too!
This shaker card was super fast to make today! The papers did most of the work for me. I added 2 "ship's anchors" and "wave border" to the bottom half of the card. The chain on the anchor I colored with a white signo pen.

The shaker in the center was cut using "circle silver stackers" I used the 2nd and 3rd smallest. together for the top and again with white foam. I then used the 3rd largest "circle" in acetate and white cardstock for the background with sentiment. Layer them together and I added some red beads, but you can add whatever you want in your center for the shaker part. Last but not least,  I added silver stickers on the top of the circle to give it the appearance of a window on a ship.

Hope you enjoyed!

Graphic 45 "Voyage Beneath The Sea" Book Box

Happy Tuesday!
Today, Im sharing with you a project that I have wanting to make for the whole month of May for the Graphic 45 NSD For The Love Of Crafting Challenge over at scrapbook.com. I made a few sketches of the front cover and I figured the rest would follow... Well every time I took the papers out...Blah! Nothing happened! Anyone else have that happen? Tomorrow is the last day for entries and today I was lucky to not have to work....so TADA! It finally came together!

As some of you may notice??? That I love the Ocean/Sea/Beach/Nautical themes and these papers from Graphic 45 "Beneath The Sea" are amazing! I have had them for a while and all Graphic 45 papers are soooo beautiful!! I wanted to make sure to use them for a special project.

There is a bit of layering of papers....then pop dots....a bit of fussy cutting. I have had these prima (orange flowers) for years and it sure was a perfect match for my project today! The teal flowers are from Recollections and I added some fishing net to the front and back covers.

The octopus are from Recollections and were inked with Tim Holtz inks "Spiced Marmalade" I then added little pearls for the eyes. I thought they would match well with the flower center pearls.

Here is the inside....lots of layering....but the best part of the box is that it comes with tags... Im planning to use my photos from Mexico to place on the fronts of the tags for my personal keepsake.

Here are the back of the tags for me to journal my great memory of Mexico with my Hubby!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hope you enjoyed!

Summer Fun

Good Morning!
Who is ready for some summer fun? I know I am ready to start some vacations soon! Here is a fun card that I made using the sketch below. It is part of the NSD card challenge at scrapbook.com. I have had these Bo Bunny papers for quite some time and I love the fun summer/beach colors.

The die in the center is from Cheery Lynn Designs and I layered it a bit with the same blue/teal background papers. You will see this die used more in the future.

The punch is from fishers and it looks like sea shells to me.

A few pop dots under the beach balls.

Here is the fun inspirational sketch!
Thank you!

The base of the card is 5 x 5 and all the papers, sentiment are from Teresa Collins "Daily Stories"

I was planning to make a bigger flower but then I decided to use the papers in the collection instead.

I added some bling to showcase the flowers.

Happy Birthday Shaker Card

Good Morning! Happy Saturday! Today, Im sharing with you a new card that I made for NSD color challenge over at scrapbook.com. It is a fun shaker card using lots of sequins that I recently purchased from scrapbook. com. The colors chosen are pink, purple, green and blue.

The die cuts are all from Cheery Lynn Designs except for the fun Lawn Fawn hillside die.  I also used my new Happy Birthday stamp from Lawn Fawn. It was a freebie during NSD weekend at scrapbook.com. I just stamped it and then free handed the flags on the ends.

Here you can see lots of sequins.

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Surf Shop With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Today I have to share this super fun 3D Surf Shop that I made using Cheery Lynn Designs Dies.
The shop is custom made out of cardstock and embossed. The dimensions are 4 x 5 inches and adding another inch to the sides for the peak. I cut the window out using the second smallest of the rectangles and then die cut the 2nd and 3rd smallest for the window frame in the front and the back.

Here on the side, I used the smallest die from the circle and then I placed the life savor in white and green over the opening. Of course I need some palm trees and a bit of grass on the bottom.

Here is the back view. It is hard to see but all the waves are layered 3 times, so it appears to look the same as it does in the front.

Here is the opposite side of the surf shop. I basically kept them the same.

The top of the shop using surf boards and tropical flowers. I cut strips to look like straw by fussy cutting every .25 inch, then I used my flower maker to curve the ends up for a tiki roof.

I closer view of the waves, seahorse, beach chair and beach ball.

The other side showing the surf board layered with a cut seahorse on top.

The bottom sea shells and starfish are flat in the ocean.

Hi everyone! Today, Im sharing with you a new card using the New May 2016 Release for Cheery Lynn Designs.  If you have come from Julie's Blog you are in the right place. If not you can start over here at Cheery Lynn Designs Blog. This is an adorable "camping set" that I used most of the dies seen here on this fun card. The fun chair is part of the "beach set" and you will be seeing more of that from me soon. Just check out the details of the fire, the trees and all the wood grain. Its so awesome!

Layered twice on the bottom is "grass 2"

In the background, there are "clouds" and on top a big sign "summer camp"
The sun is a "sunflower" die cut.

Tropical Birthday With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello everyone! I'm here today to share with you my first cascading card made for Cheery Lynn Designs. I have been making some different shaped cards lately. So I wanted to make this cascading card using lots of tropical flowers. It was inspired from patterned paper by K & Company. You will see the patterned paper below.

Lots of "tropical flowers" in hot pink, orange, and yellow. The "olive branches" and "flourishes" were my fillers. The "olive branches" even match the green patterned paper too!  I placed small pop dots behind the flowers for a bit more 3D look.

On the top edge I die cut "dancing doily" in white and fussy cut out 6 pieces.

I layered the "dancing doily" on the edge first. Next I placed leaves and flourishes and then placed the flowers on top. The "tropical flower" has 2 pieces, I die cut one in the color and then in white on top.

The sentiment was stamped in black and fussy cut out too.
Here you can see how it is flat for mailing.

Last, but not least...my patterned paper that was my inspiration!

Happy Birthday

Good Morning! Sharing another new card inspired by the sketch below celebrating NSD or shall I say month! LOL Lots of fun prizes to be won over at scrapbook.com.

These papers are from Lawn Fawn and I was thinking about chocolate mints at the time. The die cut flowers are from Cheery Lynn Designs called Daisy Strip. The fishtail banner is also from Cheery Lynn Designs. The sentiment is from Verve stamps.

Little white buttons in the center of the flower....yes I know no pearls in the centers but I just had to add them around the card. LOL

Here is the fun sketch! Thank you!

Have a great day!
