Hello, Friend...When Life Gets Nutty...

Hi! This late afternoon, early evening I had to share with you my new card that I made for this week's
Lawn Fawnatics #85 Awesome Autumn. I recently made a card using these colors and well, since it is still stuck in my head, I decided to use the colors again. I'm using the adorable new "Acorn House" and new "Lets Go Nuts" squirrels. The other card was a slimline card and you can see it HERE

I had so much fun putting this card together using lots of stamps and die cuts.

Hello! Getting ready for the upcoming holidays? Well here is a card that I made inspired by the Mojo Monday sketch #526. Thanks again Julee. I decided to use some old stickers from Jolee. I forgot how much I love them.

The sentiment is from scrapbook.com and the pumpkin and leaves are from Lawn Fawn.

A closer view....I was thinking shabby chic?

Sweeter Than Pumpkin Pie

Hi! Today, I'm sharing with you a new card that I made a few days ago. I didn't get a chance to post until now because I slipped on the wet bathroom floor and landed really hard on my right knee. The good news is it is not broken but the bad news is it probably has a ligament tear. Sigh.... Meanwhile I'm out of work till heals. Another bummer is that I can't bend my knee to get down the stairs where my craft rooms located. So being too bored I decided to scoot on my butt down the stairs. Thats serious crafting! LOL Okay enough ranting....

I love the flowers from Prima and oh did I mention the die cut from Dress My Craft that I can't stop using! The foliage is my favorite. The cake/pie die cut is from Elizabeth Craft Designs. I used a silver fork last time and now I decided to use a gold fork. Matches great with the flowers.

The sentiments are from scrapbook.com You can find them HERE

Happy Thanksgiving

Hi again! I have to share this card that I lifted from scrapbook.com with this adorable fox. You can see original HERE. I bought this adorable fox from Cheery Lynn Designs before they became Maker's Movement. I originally bought him because my youngest daughter loves foxes and I figured I would use it one day.

The papers are from Carta Bella called Fall Break. They are wonderful for all your autumn, thanksgiving cards and layouts. I sure was having a rough time to use my Darice woodgrain embossing plate. Finally!!! I figured out how to get it to work out in my cuttlebug with my spellbinders plates.

The sentiment by Verve was stamped in scrapbook.com exclusive hybrid ink. This one is called "Autumn Leaves" I sure was a lucky girl to receive all the colors from scrapbook.com Thank you sooooo much!!!

Im entering this card into this week's Cupcake Challenge #456 using orange, yellow and brown.
I Love the yummy reese's cupcakes too!

Hello Pumpkin With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Welcome back to a new autumn card using Cheery Lynn Designs. I love the pumpkins and I used two different sets layered ion top of each other.

The birch tree was die cut in kraft and the leaves are from the Flourish Leaf Strip. I cut the leaves off and placed them throughout the tree. The cute animals are also part of the birth tree die cut. Lots of adorable animals to choose.

The sentiment was stamped in brown ink. The cream background was also embossed with fall leaves but my picture didn't show it up like I wanted it? Sorry.

Happy Harvest

Hello! Happy Sunday! I have been busy with some family issues lately. However, today I was able to play in my scrap room and make this autumn card. I used several inspirational blogs to make this card. The first is the beautiful sketch at Viva La Verve for the month of November. Next I used the colors from Color Throwdown #468 and last but not least the Fall cupcakes from Cupcake Inspirations #431.

The papers  and adorable stickers are from Doodlebug. The sentiment is from Verve stamps. The punch is from Martha Stewart and the cute leaves are from Lawn Fawn.

I had to add some bling in the corners just because....

Give Thanks With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! I hope you had a good time Blog Hopping yesterday with Cheery Lynn Designs
I'm sure there is still time to hop so be sure to check it out!
Meanwhile, today I'm sharing with you a card for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. I have been making several cards with yellows, oranges and kraft so I thought I would remove the orange this time. The stamp image was colored with copic markers and then I chose the papers...it was die cut out with "pierced circles"

I stamped a sentiment with embossing ink and used white embossing powder onthe "horizon fishtail banner" It is my go to die cut for many projects. I made the "daisy strip" flowers using all of them for the larger flower and then using the 4 smaller flowers for the smaller flower. The inside was made using the "black eyed susan strip" cut in half for both flower centers. I used the smaller of the leaves from "flourish #14" and in the background the beautiful "cape cod" doily

You can see here the "old brick" embossing folder. Love it!
