Tear Drops...

Hello everyone!
Tonight, I'm sharing with you a card I made last night. I didn't take pictures until today.
Yesterday, I had a nice time shopping with my daughter and a super nice lunch at Pita Jungle. If you have never been there before it certainly is a must....sooooo yummy!

So, tonight I'm sharing with you a card made for this week's Cheery Lynn Challenge- #174 Doilies.
I used two doilies for this card and a few NEW diecuts that I just received in the mail.
OMG I'm in love with the baby's breath!

A side look... of course have to use pop up dots... I was planning to use a bit yellow but then I just love the basic kraft, white and greens.
The "thanks" is a stamp that I used with brown chalk on a cricut heart in the center. I also had a few leftover rose leaves in white that I thought was perfect to place behind the ribbon.

Here you can see the baby breath!!! LOVE SOOO MUCH!!!
You can also see the beautiful Olive Branches in green for the wreath.

I made a 5 tie bow because it was thin ribbon that matched in green. I also used some clear tear drops that I just thought of spring showers and all the green that is to come soon! I have had them for them and finally was able to use them for a card...Yay!

A few pearls for the corners and you can really see how the doilies pop off the page..

Gone "BABY" Fishin'

Happy Saturday!
I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...
It's a bit cloudy here today in AZ, so it is another perfect day to stay inside and make cards right?
Today, I'm sharing with you a new card that is for my nephew and his fiance for their upcoming baby boy! My nephew is a huge fisherman and the invitation to the baby shower is all about the baby going to be a fisherman too! Just like his daddy. Here is part of the invitation, it has little lily pads and more fishes in green on it, but I just wanted to share this corner for my inspiration for baby card I made for the two of them.

So here is my card for them. I hope they like it... It is a shaker card in all three circles. There are little beads inside and the fishes have google eyes. The font is Walt Disney; I was thinking it would be great for a baby card.

All the waves are hand cut by using a big wave scissor. The large fishing pole was made using my cricut and I added a bob on the pole to add more red color. The green ovals are meant to represent lily pads and I had to add some bling for the fish.

I used my cuttlebug for the white bubbles behind the fishes. The fishes were cut with my cricut, just simple ovals and heart tails. I added gold pearl stickles for the dots to match the invitation.

The best part of this card is the Cherry Lynn Diecut with the "Gone Fishin". I actually don't own this good friend at work has this diecut and let me borrow it for the weekend because I knew I wanted to use it for this card. Thank you Lorianne! I added the tiny "baby" flag banner in blue.

So thanks for stopping by once again!
I appreciate it and always love all the wonderful comments

Your Peachy!

Hi everybody!
Today, I'm sharing a card inspired by this week's Mojo Monday # 386. I made it yesterday...seems like there is never enough time in the day to upload? The card is more peach in color but my camera and photoshop think differently??? lol So it looks a bit more orange.....but that's OK. I used some new spellbinders diecuts and I'm waiting for some new Cheery Lynn diecuts in the mail...I'm so excited!!! So this is the first time I tried to make my own circle font...It worked out good except the color? I was trying to make it peachy...and somehow it came out green? weird? Must be my then I decided to keep it and add leaves....

I added the last of my pearl swirls....I'm saddened...need more ASAP!

These are prima flowers that I have had FOREVER! Or at least it feels that way....
Glad I could use them for this card and added of course them!

So here is the is tall and skinny...but I need some more birthday cards so I used my standard 5X6 card....
Thx Julee! Always love your inspiration and sketches!

Thx for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Purple Minion Birthday!

Hello Minions!
Tonight, I'm sharing with you a card that was inspired from pinterest. The minions were in yellow in the original card, made by Jo Weedon, Thank You! but I wanted to make mine purple. My oldest daughter's birthday was this past Wednesday Feb, 18th and she LOVES minions! My hubby wanted me to make them purple not because she is angry but because when she was a little girl her favorite color was purple. We used to call her the purple possum....shhh...sometimes we still do! LOL The minions are all free hand and I bought purple feathers for the hair. Can you believe my husband sent me to the craft store to get those feathers? Oh my!!! LOL

I added some super old brads to the balloons to make them a bit girly. The tiny "m" are little stickers and I have lots of google eyes. So one has one eye and the other has two.

I used a verve stamp with Tim holtz ink that I bought just for this card, since I realized I didn't have that color! Say What???

Her is my very first double, double bow....I love them to death and they are soooo easy!
I was soooo surprised.

Thanks for stopping by and be sure to come back soon...I have many more creations to share with you just not enough hours in the day to upload them all!

Shabby Chic Shaker Card

Happy Sunday!
Today, I'm sharing with you a shabby chic shaker card. I have made one shaker card prior to this one, but I will share it with you at a later time. first shaker card is for a contest coming soon. :) This card is for this week's Anything Goes at Cheery Lynn Designs # 173.
I was planning to make a purple card since I don't use that color very often, however I ended up using pinks, creams, and browns. All the diecuts are from Cheery Lynn and I used a MS punch along the edge of the cream cardstock. Did you notice the big brown bow? I finally figured out how to make this gorgeous double bows that I have admired from soooo many cardmakers. Yay!

I used a bit of lace for the top of the window for a curtain. The tiny beads are in each separate window. I used white foam to raise the card up and clear transparency film plus cardstock on top for the window.

Here is a close up of the flowers. I used Gala Glitz in brown for the centers. The stamp "thanks"I used brown chalk and fussy cut out. Then I curled it a bit with my fingers. The beautiful stamps are from Just Rite. I love making lots of thank you cards because you never know when you need one right away!

Loving the double bow :)
I also added pink pearls to the top of the window and one in each corner of the punched corners.

An inside view of the card and I even added another flower after I took this picture.
You can see it on my video tutorial below...

Hello peeps!
Today Im sharing with you a card that was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday #385.
This card was made pretty fast (a couple days ago) and  (less than an hour), love when that happens! The papers are like a vintage blue and so I just used white cardstock to enhance the papers. I didnt make the rose but I added a star behind it in blue for leaves to match. I used 3 different diecut companies and MS punch. The metal piece is from tim holtz and I just added blue pearls on the side where the brad usually are placed. The stamp is from Just Rite Stamps...lots of different thank you's to choose.

Inside more blues...

Close up of the metal frame....I also used distressing ink in blue

Here is the fabulous sketch this week! Merci!

Thanks for stopping by...have a great day!

Pop Up... Piano Card

Hello Everyone,
I hope you all had a nice weekend and a wonderful Valentines Day!
So today I'm sharing with you a card that I made for this week's Cheery Lynn Designs Challenge  #172-Shaped Card. It can be anything other than a square. Since I make lots of rectangles I thought I would try something new. OK, I know this piano card has been around here and there...however, I made mine from scratch. I have been wanting to make a crd like this for a very long time. I just used the standard 5 x6 size that I like and turned it sideways. It basically opens like a regular card would that you would buy from the store. The curve I just free handed and fussy cut out. Lots of cheery lynn flowers, leaves and flourishes on this card.

I made the pop up part by just folding paper back and forth. So it can be placed in an envelope and mailed. The doily I cut in half and stamped the sentiment on it. There is also a cheery lynn butterfly inside but it was hard for me to get the right angle for a photo....sorry.

Here is a closer view....also my triple bow again! This time I placed a miniature rose on top.
The piano part is a 1 inch white strip. I drew lines with a marker in black every .5 inches and then added a .25 x .75 inch cut up black paper for the keys. Pretty easy just takes a little time.

Here you can kind of see the
I made my card with a third part so that is where I will place my personal sayings.

I used the Victorian romance flourish inside too, white cardstock and pink cardstock on the front.

So I was planning to use this inside on the back but it as a bit too much so I made it into a bookmark that I could send with the card, since it does match.

Another view....same size piano instructions as above and I added the scalloped punch in pink  and black cardstock to enhance it a bit more.

Cheery Lynn Diecuts Used:

DL151 Victorian Romance Flourish
DL Exotic Butterflies Small #2
DL102 French Pastry
B178 Flourish Leaf Strip
B241 Rose Leaf Strip
B152 Miniature Rose

So I hope you enjoyed my piano card today. It did take a bit longer to make, but I'm happy with the ending result.
Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful week!
