Celebrate Easter!

Happy Sunday!
Can you believe in just a few more weeks it will be Easter? I'm hoping to have the family together this holiday to celebrate together. We are planning to have some yummy food and of course the annual egg hunt! Yes I know my children are adults but I cant help myself....lol So here is a card that I made this morning to celebrate the upcoming holiday.
It is also for this week's  Cheery Lynn Challenges #176- Celebrate

The eggs were first layered flat, then a thinner pop dot, and then a larger pop dot on top. I added stickles in white pearl on the eggs and some pearl bling throughout. It was one piece and I simply cut it up into smaller pieces.

In the inside there are tiny flourishes with some simple eggs.
There is layering of a diecut flower with two different colors behind the triple looped, double bow in cream . The card is really more pastel in color, but my camera is having issues today? You ever have that happen?

Here you can see the dimension of the card. I printed up the sentiment on the computer and just added a tail to one end.

Cheery Lynn Diecuts Used:

DL 210 Lace Egg Four
B387 Tiny Fanciful Flourish Left & Right
B241 Rose Leaf Strip

Peeps!

Hello Peeps!
I wanted to share with you this new card that I was inspired by this week's Mojo Monday #388. When I first started to create this card I was thinking about adding a star like it is on the sketch. However, after I made the circles it started to take a twist and I wanted to use my Cheery Lynn chicks and the tall grass from Our Daily Bread. Tada! This is the ending result! I'm loving the chicks and the yellow polka dot ribbon to go with my theme.

This card is made of all diecuts, with some pearls and flowers...it took about an hour.

I wasn't sure what I was going to place as the sentiment on the card. I just knew I didn't want it to say Happy Easter....so I found this cute quote online and printed it up on the computer.

Closer view of the chicks with google eyes!

Quick inside view.
If you don't have these adorable chicks yet, I would say they are a sure must have for your spring collection!

Here is the fab sketch! Thx!

Hope you have a great day!!!

Double Folded Bunny Card

Happy Hump Day!

Today, Im sharing a new Easter card. It is my first Double Folded Card. I totally Love how easy it is to make. I was really surprised! I wanted to make another Easter card and send it out soon to one of my family members. I also wanted it to be creams and chocolate! Yummy!

I was only going to make one chocolate bunny...but then I thought a cream/white chocolate would be good too! The egg stamp and diecut are from Our Daily Bread and the cute bunnies are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I added google eyes. The sentiment is from a clearence section a bought years ago in a pack of 3 sentiments for .50....so awesome!

Here is an open view....planning to add my personal sentiment later... i added lots of pearls to the tops. I also added more eggs and one more chocolate bunny inside. One chocolate ribbon bow to the top :)

A back view....More pearls....

Thx for looking!

Your Kindness...

Good evening! Sharing a second card today!
This afternoon I made a card that I have been wanting to make for over a week.
It is from Cardabilities #118.
I recently just seen their sketches #116 and LOVE them!
So here is my interpretation of the wonderful sketch.

There was only one clock in the sketch but I added an extra two hidden behind the metal sentiment. This was an old stamp that I never used....about time! lol The paper is an old Pion Design paper....soooo vintage soooo beautiful!

I added little flowers with grey brads and several leave diecuts from Cheery Lynn.

I also added lace, MS punch and a metal brad for the closure.

Here is the beautiful sketch!

Thanks for looking!

Wishing You A Blessed Easter

Happy Monday!
So, today I am sharing with you new card that was inspired from a beautiful card that I seen from pinterest. I loved how the cross had a yellow shine behind it and that it radiated Resurrection  in purple. Thank you so much!

I added Heartfelt Creations Diecuts and stamps to the cross. Excited about my NEW additions from Our Daily Bread, beautiful eggs and and font that I really LOVE!

Closer view of white stickles in he center of the flowers and the lovely purple ribbon.

Can you see why I love the eggs and font!!! You will see this more soon!

There is an even larger egg that I used for the inside! So much my kind of vintage style.

Shabby Bunnies

Hello, Happy Sunday!
Today, Im sharing with a new card using some of my new diecuts from Cherry Lynn Designs. This card was inspired by this week's theme Easter #175. I love these little bunnies! I was thinking chocolate? Yum! I added tiny google eyes and pom pom's for their tails. I originally was going to use one bunny, but I love how the 3 of them worked out on this shabby card. On top of the card is a pink shear ribbon and it is a triple looped double bow.

I added little roses and little flowers in pink on the bottom with layers of other flourishes. The inside I used a MS punch for the fence. There are pop dots behind all the bunnies too.

A closer view of the bunnies...I also typed up the Happy Easter in the background and printed it on my computer in a circle with brown ink.

Closer view of all the pink flowers made with the miniature rose set by Cheery Lynn. In the center of some of the flowers, I used silver gala glitz.

Those bunnies are ready to hop right off this card! lol

Keeping Your Ducks In A Row

Hello everyone!
Today, I'm sharing with you a card that I made for our local convention in Mesa AZ.
Saturdays contest is about "keeping your ducks in a row"
So I of course had to find a duck stamp since I didn't own any. As many of my followers know me, I cant color with copics great, So I just stamped the ducks on cardstock and colored the beaks, feet and hearts. This was also my very first shaker card. I was so excited to make one for the first time! Its those little things in life....lol

I fussy cut out the ducks and placed them on top of the scalloped circles. I have a wave diecut representing water and the title I typed on my computer in a wave and fussy cut out.

Sequins in the centers, a double bow in white and white pearls throughout.

Here you can the 3D of the shakers and the title.

The contest doesn't require inside finish but I cant help myself. lol
What's one more little duck?

Thanks for stopping by and wish me luck!
I'm keeping my fingers crossed x

Hello! Spring?

Hello!
Today, I was lucky enough to have the day off since it was a bit slower in the OR. Usually it is really busy on Thursday's, but not today! yay! So had several things that I needed to take care of and I was planning to do them tomorrow, but now they are all done! So awesome! I made this card this morning and can you believe it only took an hour? I was wanting to do something in purple and them I wanted to do something in green...TaDa... It was inspired once again with this week's MOJO Monday #378.
I also was thinking...spring must come here soon! Many of my friends are freezing!

Added some flowers and pearls. Plus my fave new bows.... I also used my new tiny little flourishes in white from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Closer view of all the flowers from Recollections...Love the tiny resin flower in green too!

Another fabulous sketch! Thx Julee!

Hope you have a great day!

Tear Drops...

Hello everyone!
Tonight, I'm sharing with you a card I made last night. I didn't take pictures until today.
Yesterday, I had a nice time shopping with my daughter and a super nice lunch at Pita Jungle. If you have never been there before it certainly is a must....sooooo yummy!

So, tonight I'm sharing with you a card made for this week's Cheery Lynn Challenge- #174 Doilies.
I used two doilies for this card and a few NEW diecuts that I just received in the mail.
OMG I'm in love with the baby's breath!

A side look... of course have to use pop up dots... I was planning to use a bit yellow but then I just love the basic kraft, white and greens.
The "thanks" is a stamp that I used with brown chalk on a cricut heart in the center. I also had a few leftover rose leaves in white that I thought was perfect to place behind the ribbon.

Here you can see the baby breath!!! LOVE SOOO MUCH!!!
You can also see the beautiful Olive Branches in green for the wreath.

I made a 5 tie bow because it was thin ribbon that matched in green. I also used some clear tear drops that I just thought of spring showers and all the green that is to come soon! I have had them for years...love them and finally was able to use them for a card...Yay!

A few pearls for the corners and you can really see how the doilies pop off the page..

Gone "BABY" Fishin'

Happy Saturday!
I sure hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend...
It's a bit cloudy here today in AZ, so it is another perfect day to stay inside and make cards right?
Today, I'm sharing with you a new card that is for my nephew and his fiance for their upcoming baby boy! My nephew is a huge fisherman and the invitation to the baby shower is all about the baby going to be a fisherman too! Just like his daddy. Here is part of the invitation, it has little lily pads and more fishes in green on it, but I just wanted to share this corner for my inspiration for baby card I made for the two of them.

So here is my card for them. I hope they like it... It is a shaker card in all three circles. There are little beads inside and the fishes have google eyes. The font is Walt Disney; I was thinking it would be great for a baby card.

All the waves are hand cut by using a big wave scissor. The large fishing pole was made using my cricut and I added a bob on the pole to add more red color. The green ovals are meant to represent lily pads and I had to add some bling for the fish.

I used my cuttlebug for the white bubbles behind the fishes. The fishes were cut with my cricut, just simple ovals and heart tails. I added gold pearl stickles for the dots to match the invitation.

The best part of this card is the Cherry Lynn Diecut with the "Gone Fishin". I actually don't own this diecut....yet....my good friend at work has this diecut and let me borrow it for the weekend because I knew I wanted to use it for this card. Thank you Lorianne! I added the tiny "baby" flag banner in blue.

So thanks for stopping by once again!
I appreciate it and always love all the wonderful comments
