Steamy Romance *Steampunk*

This is a recent photo of my daughter and her boyfriend. They are the cutest couple and are so in love. My daughter has had a few boyfriends in the past who have not been...shall i say up to par? But, this young man is everything she wants and he adores her...young love is so perfect!

In this photo, they were dancing at a club and were a bit sweaty...hence the title "Steamy Romance" it became. So I wanted to make this a bit steampunk and yet springy for this time of year. I only used 2 pieces of white cardstock and leftover green cardstock for the papers. Everything has been stamped, distressed, masked, stitched and doodled. I love the ending result! You will be seeing more of this young couple soon....

Sweet Bubbly Dream....

This was a swap photo challenge over at SCRAP THAT! this month. I was so lucky to get this adorable baby boy photo from scrappin_in_AK ...I finally used up some of those old jolee stickers that I had forever! I really planned on NOT using any flowers but near the end it just called out to me. lol!!!

I softened the photo and added some cute buttons...plus i finally used some clothpins...the laundry line is my favorite part...it worked out how i imagined...hope she liked it!

Hi well, here is another layout that i finished last night with the beautiful MADAME BUTTERFLY KIT from Scrap That! I was getting tired of some of the same designs that I have been doing so here is what I came up with....

I have seen some prima branches that have that gorgeous cotton tips and so I decided to use

Q-tips instead. I really loved how it turned out and obviously it is really easy to do. I just love making my own embellishments and saving those pennies for many other items that I cant make....

Today I’m going to share with you my project's using APRIL SCRAP THAT KIT!

This first lo I used the gorgeous mask that comes with the kit! But wait there is even more! Ta Da! Dusty Attic chipboard! Im so excited to get my very first piece from SCRAP THAT! I love the flowers that come with the kit too! Just beautiful!

My second lo is all about the flowers flowers and more flowers! Look at those gorgeous papers and that stunning butterfly! This kit is a total must have this April!

Poison Ivy

This was a fun layout that I made for a challenge at sb.com.... I asked my husband about the vines and well, he said NO...that led to a week of pulling my hair out! Needless to say, I went back to my original idea and decided to NOT ask him for an opinion anymore! lol

My daughter was Poison Ivy for Halloween and so of course you have to have venus fly traps! I made them by using a small sun punch, one color red and one green, I glued them together and folded in half! easy! I had a blast with all the greenery!

Harry Winston Style

Hello again!

First, I want to thank everyone who came to my blog for the blog hop yesterday and today! Im so super excited to have so many followers and fabulous comments. Good luck to everyone who met the criteria for the blog hop for your grand package from SCRAP THAT! You will be so excited to receive it as I surely was excited too!

Here is another layout made with some of those fabulous papers from the March kit from SCRAP THAT! Lots of fussy cutting on this layout....but nothing is too much for my mother's photos! My mother loves pastel pink and vintage items, so this was perfect for me to showcase the photos of my mother at the famous Harry Winston store in Las Vegas! Now who doesn't want a diamond from there? LOL I used tiny dollies around the layout and it worked out perfect for the vintage feeling I wanted to give to my wonderful mother!
