Well, this week's challenge with The Shabby Tea Room is Thankful. I'm thankful to have family around the whole holiday season. The wonderful inspirational photo places me in the Christmas spirit. This week's sponsor is from Great Expressions.
Here is my interpretation of the photo. My husband loves the rustic burlap look for the holidays, so thought I would make a christmas card. I have this candle stamp from Verve and fussy cut it out. Added a little shimmer to the wicks and center of poinsettia. The sentiment is also from Verve.
I used one of my favorite Martha Stewart lace punch and then cut a piece of burlap to go in the center.
Love the soft colors and of course I had to add some white pearls! lol
The flower is from Petaloo. It was a perfect match to my burlap.
Herre is a closeup of the pinecones. I have been watching a few tutorials on how to make them. Finally I figured out a super easy way to make them fast....tutorial coming soon!
