Money Saving Stamens

Ok, I have seen so many homemade flowers lately, and so I finally gave it a whirl. I wanted to add those beautiful stamens ladies have been using but I didn’t have any and I really didn’t want to buy any so I decided to make my own. These are MONEY SAVING STAMENS!

First, I made my flower with my cricut or you can use a punch in a scalloped pattern. Then chalk the edges on both sides.

Second, using a small punch or on Home Accents, Cricut, you need a similar design that has small circles in the design and then you place pearl stickles on all the small circles and let dry.

Third, place a brad or embellishment of your choice in the middle and place on top of the flowers….Thats it! Now you have your own homemade stamens, which I think they are as good as store bought ones.

Here is an example on a layout:

Here are some close-ups to see how truly beautiful they can be with your own personal touch. The best part is you can make them any color you want for all the upcoming holidays!

Hope you enjoy!

Wow...Totally gorgeous Lisa. And I have that cartridge, although though I used a Sizzix die for mine. But knowing I can make them any size with Cricut is a plus! The whole LO is just beautiful!! And your background paper is awesome!! TFS...
