Happy Birthday!

Hi! Happy Monday!
I was able to make this fun shaker card using Cheery Lynn Designs new shaker cards. They really are so fun to make! I usually don't use the color yellow much but I decided to use it for this card because of the glittery candles that I used stickles on the flames. The patterned papers are pretty old from Colorbok that I bought once upon a time at Walmart.

The cake of course had to be CHOCOLATE!!! The font inside was typed up on the computer and then printed on the background of the shaker...it actually reads "Happy Birthday To You" but because I placed so many sequins and metal you can't see it all...lol

I added some yellow medium roses and leaves from Cheery Lynn Designs for a  finishing touch.

Confidential With Graphic 45

Happy Sunday everyone!
Ok so I know that is an arctic cold freeze going around here in North America....but isn't it still supposed to stay warm and sunny here in Arizona? Im so tired of this blah rainy days!
Well, after I made card using Graphic 45 papers I decided to make another card using more Graphic 45 papers from the collection Communique. It is very vintage looking.

I layered papers sideways and used a few stickers with pop dots.

Lastly, I used up some black flowers and bling.

Love With Graphic 45

Hi!
Happy Saturday! I hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I was lucky enough to start my weekend yesterday. So, my hubby and I went out for lunch and a bit of shopping. Today,  wanted to make a card for my own stash using the beautiful Graphic 45 papers Mon Amour. I bought them a while back like I buy so many Graphic 45 papers and then I tend to hoard them? They are just so beautiful.

So I broke them out to make this Valentine Card for the upcoming holiday. I fussy cut out the man and lady and placed pop dots behind them. I used some premade flowers throughout.

I placed a flower in the lady's hair too

Here is a close up of the shaker heart. They are so fun to make. I made a tiny double looped bow for the top of the heart.

You can see here it is a little bulky but beautiful!

Have a great weekend!

Valentine Shaker Card With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! How is everyone's New Year Going? Well, this past weekend Ive been busy with my household being ill from that icky flu going around. Me, I felt a little icky one day, but been loading up with vitamins and lots of sleep to avoid it...so far so good!  Meanwhile, I was a little behind in making some cards for a bit. I was able to quickly make this fun Valentine card for the next holiday for Cheery Lynn Designs.

I used some soft creams, kraft and pinks for the colors. The "heart shaker" is the focus of the card. I added "miniature roses" in 3 different pinks along the edge with pink sequins in the center of the heart. The sentiment was stamped in brown ink and fussy cut the flag edges.

Behind the heart is a the lovely "french pastry" with real lace behind it. It was leftover lace from my daughter's wedding innovations that I made over 6 months ago. Inside the shaker I used some pink sequins.

Champagne Bottle Tag With Cheery Lynn Designs

Happy New Year!!!
I hope everyone had a fun and safe New Year's Eve!
Today, Im sharing a quick tag for a champagne bottle using some Cheery Lynn Designs Dies.
The "horizon fishtail banner" is one of my all time favorite die cuts. I used all three dies, the largest in black and then the middle and smallest in white. I glued them all together and placed white stickers in the center for buttons.

"pretty pretty bow" was die cut in silver paper. I used the larger of the two bows. I then added two stars from "pierced stars" The white base behind the "banners" is 2 inches wide by 8 1/2 inches long. It was scored at 2 inches and I used the smallest of the "circle stitch" for the bottle opening. These fun tags can be used for any occasion and easy to make.

Have a Happy New Year!!!

Bah Humbug! With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! I hope everyone is getting ready for the holiday season since it is just around the corner!
I recently received this sheep die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs. I have seen some adorable stamps with sheep and BAAAAAHHHH Humbug. I thought I would make the sheep Scrooge! LOL
(I really love the holidays, but this is the perfect card for that Scrooge you might know?)

I added the hat from "skeleton" and the scarf from "gingerbread family" The fun "holly" was cut in green and then the leaves colored with copic markers.

I can't stop using the stitched squares, ovals, rectangles and circles. So if you don't have them in your collection it is certainly a must!!!
I love the layered "poinsettia" too. Ive used it so many times over so many years of Christmas cards. I added a white pearl in the center. for contrast. Lastly but not least the fun "alphabet" for the title. I will say at first it looked a bit smaller but.....the font works wonderfully on a card! Not too big and not too small.

There are some pearls on the top of the hat and of course my favorite google eyes!  I free handed the grumpy frown and eyebrows with a fine tip black marker.

Hope you enjoyed!

The Stockings With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Thanks for stopping by! Today, Im sharing another fun holiday card with
I love the adorable "stocking with presents" I thought about adding some extra colors on the presents but then I kept the whole card with creams, whites and of course my favorite color RED!

The beautiful "horizon circles" are so delicate and have such an elegant edge so I wanted to use them today with the center of "circle stitch" It's a perfect match in the center.

I stamped the Verve sentiment in black on the middle sized "horizon circle" Added some liquid appliqué for the snow/fluff throughout the stocking. Lastly, a bit of bling...I can't help myself! LOL

Jingle All The Way

Hi! Happy Friday!
This morning I was able to find some Mojo for this month's Mojo Monday #477.
I recently bought these papers at Michael's for 60% off during the Black Friday weekend. It came together pretty quickly and will be part of my Christmas cards that will be going out next week. I used the fun stamps from Verve. I was debating if I wanted to color the bells...but I decided to leave it

The poinsettia, holly and stitched rectangle are all form Cheery Lynn Designs.

Had to add some bling right?   lol

The great sketch! Thank you! See Mojo Monday next year!
Happy Holidays!

Baking Holiday Treats With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi and welcome back to another fun Holiday card for Cheery Lynn Designs! I was inspired this week  to make a cookie card because I'm planning to go to my annual cookie party next weekend! So much fun to see friends that we only get together this time of the year. So this card is all about COOKIES!

The chocolate chip cookies were made using the smallest "circle stitch" and then I used my hole punch in brown for the chips. The gingerbread man is part of the "gingerbread family" that I just colored the tips of the hands and feet with a white marker.

Love the "french doily" it is a must have in your collection as wee as the "horizon fishtail banners"
Here you can see I added a bit of snow to the santa hat with some cute wiggly eyes.
A few pearls along a few edges and this card is ready to be eaten! Just Kidding! LOL

Have A Holly Jolly Christmas

Hello, Glad you could stop by today!
Today Im sharing another new card inspired by this month's Viva La Verve#2 November sketch.
Once again amazing layers! I recently purchased the new release from Verve. Love the adorable snowman and the cute saying.  It takes me back to "Frosty The Snowman" and Burl Ives singing "Holly Jolly Christmas" with Rudolph as a young child. Classic Christmas movies and music that still are enjoyed today. Love it!

I switched up the flag banner a bit because I wanted to use the patterned papers I already cut up. So I layered the two banners together. Black and White don't seen to be a normal Christmas theme but I thought I would change it up a bit since I normally use lots of greens and reds.

I used the stripped twine on the top for a perfect fun touch.

The beautiful sketch! Thanks!

Have a great day!
Hoping to make some more Christmas cards for this season real soon!
