Sweet Baby Girl

Hello! Gosh I know it has been a while since my last post. Honestly, I have been creating but for future posts with Dies R Us. Be sure to come back for my posts coming up soon. Thanks! Meanwhile I have been wanting to make a card for a colleague who is having her first baby. Yep a baby girl! She loves giraffes and so hopefully she enjoys this adorable pink giraffe with pearl eyes.

The die cut of the giraffe is from Cheery Lynn Designs. It actually has a much longer neck. However it wouldn't fit in the center of the oval....so I modified it to fit. Oh My Goodness do I love these new leaves that I recently purchased from Creative Expressions. The oval is from Spellbinders and the banner is from Cheery Lynn Designs too. The adorable small sentiment is from Verve.

The flowers are from my old stash. I added some pearls to the top and bottom edges.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope you enjoyed!

Have A Happy Day Lawn Fawnatics #53 Spectacular Skies

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. It sure feels like forever since I was in my craft room actually making cards again! Im super excited about the latest summer release from Lawn Fawn and this is one was high on my list to get On The Beach. I used about 11 die cuts and stamps for the finished card. This is for the Lawn Fawnatics #53 Spectacular Skies. Love being at the beach on a partly cloudy day with a little bit in breeze.

I love the windy background and I recently bought the Butterfly Kisses set with the older Spring Shower set. On the inside, I stamped You Are In My Thoughts. This card is for my sister in law who recently lost her mother. However, I didn't want to send a sympathy card. I wanted to send a happy card to her instead to brighten her day.

A closer view. Always loving the hillside borders and stitched waves and not to mention the Life is Good set. However, Im so sad that I lost the tiny bird stamp :(

The inspiration this week! Thank you!

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful, safe holiday weekend!

Sea You Soon

Hello again! It's Lisa back with an underwater card using lots of die cuts and stamps from
Dies R Us. Today, I'm using Lawn Fawn, Impression Obsession, and the amazing ringlets from Memory Box. I just LOVE that it looks like bubbles.

This card was inspired by my girlfriend who is leaving for most of the summer...so I will sea her soon! LOL The sea plants are absolutely gorgeous! So much detail. All the adorable fish and shark are from Lawn Fawn, they are must haves for your fun underwater cards.

First, I started with the windy background and stitched rectangle. When you turn it sideways, I thought it worked well with the ringlets going upwards like bubbles and water.

I then used the stitched waves and stamped my sentiment on the bottom.

Die cut all the stamped images, the sea plants, ringlets and assembled on the card. I also used the stitched waves in the inside too.

Hope you were inspired today!

Flying By To Say

Hi Welcome Back! t's Lisa here again sharing a new card for Dies R Us. Im getting for that favorite time of year for me....yep...beach time! I just love the all these wonderful die cuts from Impression Obsession and Lawn Fawn to make this cool summer card.

Just loving the blues and kraft paper with all these fun birds! I colored some of the birds with black copic marker. I also added tiny dots in brown for a little dimension in the sand.

The Lawn Fawn wavy saying stamps are great with the wavy banner. Loving the waves too.

Here is how I make the clouds Lawn Fawn using puffy clouds borders.

After I shade the bottom darker, then I just ever so slightly fill in the white to blend a bit more of the blues.

Die cut all the pieces and layer them however you like...Done!

Thanks for stopping by today. Hope You enjoyed.

Thanks So Much

Hi! Welcome back to my blog! It sure has been a while since I made anything new. Been busy at work and with Easter last weekend, I had no scrap time. I have watching the Lawn Fawnatics #51Card Sketch for a while and I finally was able to make something this morning. I also used the colors with Color Throwdown #540.

I know that fall is a while away...but I had to use some of my new stamps and die cuts from Lawn Fawn. I love the wavy banners and wavy sayings. I also Love the Snowy backdrop. I thought of the night time sky. I used hillside and grassy borders. The happy harvest set is perfect for the colors I wanted to use today.

The cute little hearts are from the new awesome sets.
Here is the great sketch!

I Was Crabby....Sorry

Hello again! It's Lisa back with a fun new Magic Picture Changer card for Dies R Us. I just LOVE this die cut and I'm sure will too. It is so easy to put together. However, be sure to put the inside on the smaller die cut and the outside of on the larger piece. Not like me. LOL My two sons say it's ok if you say it that way too.

The inside of the magic picture changer. I used Life is Good stamps and die cuts for my beach scene.

First, I picked my papers and colors. I then colored images and had a general design in mind. Sometimes I just sketch an idea out on scrap paper.

When you are stamping images be sure that it fits inside the box.

I colored the images with copic markers. Hope you enjoyed!
