Life Is Full Of Ups And Downs Lawn Fawnatics #46

Hello! Happy Sunday! I wanted to share this new Interactive "Double Slider Surprise" card with you today. I just love the look and how playful it can be! This card is for this week's Lawn Fawnatics # 46 color inspiration. As I mentioned a couple posts ago, I recently bought lots of Lawn Fawn stamps and die cuts. I brought out the adorable "Coaster Critters" set. I love the amusement park and always loved roller coasters. Especially, Cedar Point.

I used "Everyday Sentiment Banner" for the sentiment. Lots of critters here with the tiny stars from "Winter Village" I added a gold pen touch in the center of the stars. The end tabs are from "Push Here" Too cute! Some "Puffy Cloud Border", "Stitched Rectangle" and "Stitched Hillside Borders" went perfect with the theme.

A closer view.... Love the fun Lawn Fawn "Knit Picky Fall", "Knock on Wood" and "Watercolor Wishes" Papers.

The inside....this card is for my sister who is having a rough time right now in her life....hoping this will cheer her up :) I'm there for her everyday...Hugs

Thanks so much for stopping by today!

This Hope... With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Are you ready for a new card inspired by this week's challenge with Cheery Lynn Designs? This week's challenge Red White and Blue is right up my favorite upcoming holiday, The Fourth of July! You may have noticed that I'm still on beach mode and well I suppose nautical is close enough. LOL This card can be used for that favorite man in your life too!
This shaker card was super fast to make today! The papers did most of the work for me. I added 2 "ship's anchors" and "wave border" to the bottom half of the card. The chain on the anchor I colored with a white signo pen.

The shaker in the center was cut using "circle silver stackers" I used the 2nd and 3rd smallest. together for the top and again with white foam. I then used the 3rd largest "circle" in acetate and white cardstock for the background with sentiment. Layer them together and I added some red beads, but you can add whatever you want in your center for the shaker part. Last but not least,  I added silver stickers on the top of the circle to give it the appearance of a window on a ship.

Hope you enjoyed!

One Day At A Time

Hi! Glad you could stop by today!
It has been a really long long time since I actually made something for my personal stash!
As some of you may have noticed ...Im on this nautical beach theme. This is pone more to join the collection, except this one is not bright and colorful. This card is more soothing to the eyes. Really makes me think of Cape Cod and the beaches.

There are lots of Cheery Lynn Dies used again, but there are several little flowers from petaloo in kraft and some teal flowers from a grade sale at my local scrapbooking store. The paper is from Bo Bunny and most of the collection is bright except for a few distressed pieces of patterned paper.

The sentiment that I used is from Verve. I just thought this would be a great inspirational card for someone who loves the beach as much as I do. The edges of the papers are all distressed using Distress It All. Lastly, the chain and centers of the sand dollar were colored with a topic marker.

Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to come back to more cards soon!

Flower Pot Card With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Im so excited to share this flower pot card using Cheery Lynn Designs Dies with you today! I have seen several of these cards and I wanted to make one for my mother for Mother's Day this year. So I thought I would make one early to make sure it comes out the way I wanted it to look. OMGosh! If you hadn't made one of these flower pot cards in the past...I highly recommend you trying to make your first. They are truly beautiful!

The base is 3.5 x 9 inches. Scored at 2 inches and 5.5 inches. I then cut 1 inch off the top of the 2 border and added the "border carnivale" in white for the edge. I layered some ribbon  around the whole top and added a bow towards the left side. I then die cut 3 sets of the "sunflower set" in yellow and placed some black gala glitz in the centers for a bit of bling.  The 2 largest "leafy flourish"were placed behind the flowers and then I added 2 of the smaller "leafy flourish" to drape down onto the flower pot.

The insert with flowers and your personal message is 2.75 x 5 inches. I stamped a sentiment on the left hand corner and added 3 small butterflies from "mini dimensional butterflies". There are so many cute butterflies to choose from this set. I layered them in white cardstock to make it pop out a bit.

Hope your enjoyed my flower pot card today!

Donut Worry Be Happy

Hi,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend!
I'm sharing a new card that I made a few days ago inspired by this week's Mojo Monday #402.
Now who doesn't love a donut? I was thinking about circle objects when I ran across a donut card. Then I could see 3 of them, strawberry, vanilla and of course CHOCOLATE! Yum

I made all the donuts with my cricut: 2 each in 2 colors, 4 inches, 3 inches and 2 inches. Then I chalked the edges and fussy cut the icing in a random pattern. Lastly, I added some stickles.

The font sentiment was printed on my computer and the "chocolate" diecut is from Verve Stamps.
The scalloped white cardstock, I used a Cheery Lynn Diecut and punched little holes on the edges. There are also 2 ribbons in the background.

Here is the sketch this week!

Have a great Saturday!

Coffee Inspiration...

Hi Fellow Scrappers and Cardmakers!
Today, I wanted to make a card from the beautiful sketch from Viva La Verve Week #1 April. I printed out the sketch at the beginning of the month and I was debating on colors? I knew I wanted to use the diecut Coffee from Verve. It truly is beautiful! I also knew I wanted to make it a shaker card. So the past couple of weeks I was thinking browns....but this morning I decided to use lots of cheerful colors and make this an inspirational card. Multiple colors are so out of my norm but I loved how cheerful it came out!

I didn't plan on using black along the edges, however when I printed up the top sentiment...the black ink from the computer touched the edge. So instead of printing it out again I just chalked up all the edges and added black for the diecut "coffee" and along the scalloped edge under the shaker. Funny how a simple mistake can make a card turn out good.

A closer view of the  flowers and I used several Cheery Lynn Diecuts too. The beads for the shaker are clear, as close as a white without covering up the coffee diecut.

I added a strip of pearls to the top and all the flowers are pre-made. The teal polka dot is from Recollections and the two pink ones are from a huge bag of flowers that I bought at a local scrapbooking yard sale for 3 bucks! :0)

So here is the beautiful sketch! Thank you again, again and again!

Have a great day! As always thanks for stopping by!

Take Life....

Hello, it is Monday again and today I made a card for this week's The Shabby Tea Room #163
"Spring Bliss". The colors are so cheerful and I wanted to cheer myself up a bit since this past weekend...Ive been a little sad....I will share the story soon....So this week was to use the colors, yellow, green and white/cream, also to use flowers and polka dots. Pretty easy to do flowers for me because Im addicted to them.

Here is the inspirational photo this week....beauty!

The paper is literally a scrap piece from an old project and it was perfect for the yellow polka dots. I also made a small circles in the centers of my daisies. I added pearls around the whole 5 x 5 card.
The leaves, small flowers and doily are from Cheery Lynn Designs and the daisies, stamped tea cups and small tags are from Heartfelt Creations... I wanted to add the tags to the tea cups to resemble tea bags with the sentiment "Take Life...One Tea Cup At A Time"

A closer view...
I added the green sheer ribbon on the bottom that I really thought it looked like the wine glass....

Im hoping to cheer up soon...be back soon...

Heartfelt Wednesday's...Beyond The Horizon....Hope Awaits

So today, I wanted to share my zodiac sign with you. I'm a cancer, I was born July 20th...and all of us crabs love the water. This card reflects my love for the water....and it is this week's project for Heartfelt Creations. I loved the stamped image and once again like the week before I wanted to focus on the beauty of the stamp. I did color it a bit with copic markers but it was not too bad...especially since I can't color to well! I only used 3 markers....one for the water and 2 for the wood/boat.

I have had these swirls from my designing with Donna Salazar Designs and I thought they would go great with the whole water scene. I added the dots on top of the chipboard using the leftover pieces of punched cardstock. The sentiment was printed on the computer on the 2nd smallest lacey circle, the font is called "beachtype medium". Perfect!

With a little bit of fish netting and more diecuts from spellbinders...this card is ready to go.
I get my strength from the water and it inspires me...

Hope you are inspired too! Be sure to check out more creations at the Heartfelt Creations Blog!
Have a great week....xoxo
