Tear Drops...

Hello everyone!
Tonight, I'm sharing with you a card I made last night. I didn't take pictures until today.
Yesterday, I had a nice time shopping with my daughter and a super nice lunch at Pita Jungle. If you have never been there before it certainly is a must....sooooo yummy!

So, tonight I'm sharing with you a card made for this week's Cheery Lynn Challenge- #174 Doilies.
I used two doilies for this card and a few NEW diecuts that I just received in the mail.
OMG I'm in love with the baby's breath!

A side look... of course have to use pop up dots... I was planning to use a bit yellow but then I just love the basic kraft, white and greens.
The "thanks" is a stamp that I used with brown chalk on a cricut heart in the center. I also had a few leftover rose leaves in white that I thought was perfect to place behind the ribbon.

Here you can see the baby breath!!! LOVE SOOO MUCH!!!
You can also see the beautiful Olive Branches in green for the wreath.

I made a 5 tie bow because it was thin ribbon that matched in green. I also used some clear tear drops that I just thought of spring showers and all the green that is to come soon! I have had them for years...love them and finally was able to use them for a card...Yay!

A few pearls for the corners and you can really see how the doilies pop off the page..

Chocolate Bunny

Happy Saturday....
Well, I have been super busy with lots of DT work lately....but that didnt stop me from getting the new sketch from Verve this week! I changed it to the opposite side...but it is based off the sketch. This week is Clean and Simple....

As you know I have been on a chocolate roll lately and with Easter around the corner I thought of all the Chocolate Easter Bunnies on the shelves....
Well, I kept the base of the card simple and the ribbon takes care of itself...the title is printed from the computer right on the card. The wreath is really easier than it looks...here is the tutorial. For this wreath I used a leaf punch and the tiny flowers are Fiskars small punch. I added pearls in the center...

The chocolate bunny is a free clipart and I just printed it on brown cardstock, fussy cut it out and embossed it with my cuttlebug. I wrapped ribbon around the neck and used pop dots behind the wreath and bunny....

Thanks for stopping by....hope you were inspired by my chocolate bunny too!

Christmas Door and Wreath Tutorial

Hi Ladies,

Im here today to share a quick Christmas card to make if you haven't started or finished them yet this year! Like me!!! lol...I have seen these around some sites and well this is my version of how to make these fabulous, fast christmas doors with wreaths.

First, I cut 2 (2x2) white paper squares and 2 (2x4) white paper rectangles for my standard white

5 x 6 1/2 card that can be bought in bulk at your local Michael's store..pks of 50 for 10.00....or if you have a coupon even better! I then distressed the squares to give it a bit dimension.

Secondly, the most important part is to have a branch punch. It is approximately 1 1/4 inches. You can use any clear glue and cut out a circle 2 1/2 inches. Punch out several pieces on branches in green cardstock.

Thirdly, you just layer the branches back and forth in and out of the circle till you go all the way around.

Lastly, you glue down the white panels of the door and using pop dots behind the wreath to give it more dimension. Fluff up the branches and add embellishments. I added a old bell, red ribbon, flower soft and a brad for the door knob. EASY and It really looks like you put a lot of work into this....should take about 30-45 minutes to make :)
Hope you enjoyed!
