Love The Ring

Hi Happy Sunday. So today Im sharing a new layout of my daughter and her fiancé at the time. Im finally getting some Mojo back to scrap these photos. They have been married for 4 years....Yes Im a bit behind...

These were the photos that we chose for the Save The Date. Their theme was a rustic/ vintage with blue jeans and shabby chic....wedding photos will be scrapped soon.

Originally the title was going to be The Ring....but then I added this banner with the word loved stamped on it....The banner from Our Daily Bread and the sentiment letters from Lawn Fawn and Donna Salazar.

Another cluster of flowers...wish I had some chipboard for the swirls....In the future...

Thanks for topping by today
Have a great day

Seas the Day

Good Morning! This is a new card inspired by a couple of challenges out there. I love the ocean and big lakes. I usually don't ever make 2 of the same cards but I really loved a card that I made last year and so I was inspired to make something similar again. Here is the Original that I made last year.

The patterned papers are from Graphic 45. Everything looks more blue tines here but the colors are closer to teal. I never have used the tiny beach house yet by Marrianne Designs. I love it!

Yes, I made a new shaker card too. Ive been in that kind of mood lately. LOL

Entering into these challenges this week.

Thinking of You

Hi, It is with more sadness this week at work for more losses. Im not sure what is going on but it sure is scary. Nothing to do with the covid. I have made 2 cards and one more to go. Im not sure which card should go to whom...I will let my peers figure it out.

I based the card on the sketch from Mojo Monday #539. Thx Julee.

A closer view....I love the recollection flowers and I used some leftover ribbon and patterned paper.

The beautiful sketch.....

Deeper Than The Ocean

Hi! Today Im sharing a new card inspired by this week's Color Throwdown #595. I have obsessed with stripes and dots for quite some time now. I was originally thinking of Tiffany but then I decided to go with the ocean. I just love the water and have been missing it....see you soon...

I decided to put my sentiment on vellum to show the striped paper and added little bubbles.

Lace and of course pearls...the pearls are in the ocean...

A wave and some coral.

Thanks for the inspiration...

Love This Place

Hello! This morning, I wanted to make something using the beautiful colors from Color Throwdown #585. When I seen these colors earlier this week, all I could picture was the beach. I LOVE the beach, it gives me peace and serenity. We all could use some of that right now.

I originally was planning to make some flowers by bringing out my old Heartfelt Creations stamps...Unfortunately it was a disaster....So I brought out some of my old prima flowers. I think it worked out for the better! LOL

I been inking using hybrid inks from scrapbook.com. I'm so glad I inked the matching color because I inked the background first and then went looking for matching flowers....whew.

A closer view! Thanks for the inspiration....

Have a great day!
Stay well and home if you can!

A Nautical Happy Birthday

Hello again! Today, I'm sharing a new nautical card using lot of Dies R Us die cuts. This new sailboat from Impression Obsession is so adorable! It is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, babies or any beach themed card or scrapbook page.

Lots of layering papers and die cuts here.

Added some bling for bubbles for a finishing touch.

I die cut out the doodling frame twice. once in whit and once with a pattered paper for the center. Then layered them together.

The sails were die cut out in white and then layer3ed blue in the background. The center was die cut out in kraft paper and the boat bottom out of blue cardstock.

I inked up the fence and scrunched it up a bit.

Die cut bunches of coral and layered the ships helm in kraft and white paper.

Heaven....Seems a Little Closer at the Beach

Good Morning. So today I'm sharing a card that actually brings peace to my heart. First, I love the beach and for some reason the colors and sentiment together with the sea birds makes me feel calm and relaxed. The beautiful flowers from 49 market and all the Impression Obsession die cuts help too.

I like most of my cards but this one has to be my favorite this year. Guess it will have to go to someone very special for me to part with it. LOL

I inked up the sea birds with distressing ink instead of using a marker. Think it looks pretty good? I learned this technique from kittiekraft when she was doing a demo at my local convention. Thanks!

The circle and the beautiful sea weed are from Scrapman. Love the tiny details.
Thanks again for stopping by today!
Have a great day.
