Better With Age

Hi! Today, Im sharing with you a card inspired by a card sketch challenge over at scrapbook.com. I decided to make a birthday card for a friend of mine. We both love our wine....LOL It is hard to see but I did add glitter to the grapes and wine glasses. To give it a shimmer look.

I also used Used more of the same Lawn Fawn papers inside.

One more closer look....

Thanks for stopping by today!

It's Wine O'clock Somewhere!

Hello everyone! Today, Im sharing today a new card made for this month's Mojo Monday #451 Contest. When I seen the sketch, I thought of a clock in the corner and using the "wine O'clock" stamp in the other corner. I found the stamp at Micheal's dollar bin. Woo hoo! This card was made using all scrap papers from Martha Stewart which I have had for years.

The whole theme was inspired by my girlfriend. We LOVE wine and try to have a girl's date every week. She will be leaving for the summer soon and I will miss her and our dates.

The clock and the banner dies are  from Cheery Lynn Designs. There is a tiny brad in the center of the clock if you want to move the time handles. The wine glasses are from a stamp set and I colored them with topic marker to match the paper.  The bling is from Zva, I usually purchase them in bulk from Heartfelt Creations.

Here is the great sketch for this week!
Thanks again Julee!

Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Aged To Perfection With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Today, I'm sharing with you another new card made for Cheery Lynn Designs using their New Release North American and Provinces. When the DT was asked to pick out which 3 dies they wanted to design with...one of mine was originally Florida. However, several of my team wanted it too. So I thought I would change it to California since I do visit there often. As I was thinking of designing a card with California, I thought of Wine Country!

The "California" state I die cut and then fussy cut around it in purple to stick out a bit more. I then stamped wine glasses and a sentiment on top. I also stamped some grapes and a wine bottle, they are colored with topic markers.

The flowers are "sweet williams strip " and the leaves are " flourish #14"  I also added "tiny flourishes" for some swirls. The flowers are chalked on the edges for a tiny distressed look.

I added several pop dots behind the dies...they are addicting! lol

Good Friends and Wine

Hello,
Today I'm sharing with you a new card for a girlfriend of mine. Last week, we were able to get off work a little early and decided to have lunch and a glass of wine. It was really nice to have girl time.  We have normal girl chats and well, it is always cheaper than therapy! lol
I have seen so many of these cafe shop cards and well today I had to give it a try.

The awning below is really easy to make. I used a corner punch. That way you can make your awning any size you want on any size card. I used 2 different diecuts from Cheery Lynn Designs. Clouds & Rain and Scandinavian Tag 1

All the stamps are old wine stamps...I believe they fiskars. The green paper was embossed and I used a Martha Stewart punch for the top edge. Some pearls and ribbon and this card is ready to be sent out! Actually, I plan on giving it to her in person. :)

Thanks again for stopping by!
Have a great day!
