Lifesaver

Hi! Sharing a card that I made yesterday for a challenge over at scrapbook.com and Cupcake Challenge #521 Red White and Blue. I love everything nautical and the 4th of July happens to be my favorite holiday of the year! This card is for my sister because we really have gotten close this past year even though we are 1800 miles apart. She has been a lifesaver to me....and well...since she calls me a crab because of my zodiac sign....I thought this would be perfect! LOL

I used some of my CLD die cuts and lots of chipboard from My Minds Eye.

I loved the nautical dark blue stripped paper too...

The inspiration colors....

Nautical Shabby Chic Beach

Hi! Hope everyone is having a good holiday weekend! Sharing this card that I finished last night. It is a shabby chic nautical theme inspired by the The Card Concept #156. I was inspired by the anchor, sailboat, and ships helm. I wanted to use more of these papers and flowers from 49 Market.

A side view....the inside has the sentiment....you are my strong anchor...

Seas the Day

Good Morning! This is a new card inspired by a couple of challenges out there. I love the ocean and big lakes. I usually don't ever make 2 of the same cards but I really loved a card that I made last year and so I was inspired to make something similar again. Here is the Original that I made last year.

The patterned papers are from Graphic 45. Everything looks more blue tines here but the colors are closer to teal. I never have used the tiny beach house yet by Marrianne Designs. I love it!

Yes, I made a new shaker card too. Ive been in that kind of mood lately. LOL

Entering into these challenges this week.

Die cuts used from Marrianne Designs, Tutti, Impression Obsession, Scrapman, Lawn Fawn

A Nautical Happy Birthday

Hello again! Today, I'm sharing a new nautical card using lot of Dies R Us die cuts. This new sailboat from Impression Obsession is so adorable! It is perfect for birthdays, anniversaries, babies or any beach themed card or scrapbook page.

Lots of layering papers and die cuts here.

Added some bling for bubbles for a finishing touch.

I die cut out the doodling frame twice. once in whit and once with a pattered paper for the center. Then layered them together.

The sails were die cut out in white and then layer3ed blue in the background. The center was die cut out in kraft paper and the boat bottom out of blue cardstock.

I inked up the fence and scrunched it up a bit.

Die cut bunches of coral and layered the ships helm in kraft and white paper.

Strong Anchor

Hello again! Lisa here today sharing a nautical card using lots of die cuts from Dies R Us. I was inspired by another card on pinterest. I love red and it happens to be my favorite color. I also love Impression Obsession die cuts especially all the beach scenes.

This card is for my husband for our 31 anniversary. Whoa! Time does fly by....

The sentiments were just the right size to place on the wooden sign post. I die cut all the pieces and layered them together.

I started off inking the center with the ocean waves.

I die cut the sailboats and birds. Just used a copic marker to color parts.

Die cut several other pieces and place on the card however you like.

Heaven....Seems a Little Closer at the Beach

Good Morning. So today I'm sharing a card that actually brings peace to my heart. First, I love the beach and for some reason the colors and sentiment together with the sea birds makes me feel calm and relaxed. The beautiful flowers from 49 market and all the Impression Obsession die cuts help too.

I like most of my cards but this one has to be my favorite this year. Guess it will have to go to someone very special for me to part with it. LOL

I inked up the sea birds with distressing ink instead of using a marker. Think it looks pretty good? I learned this technique from kittiekraft when she was doing a demo at my local convention. Thanks!

The circle and the beautiful sea weed are from Scrapman. Love the tiny details.
Thanks again for stopping by today!
Have a great day.
