Thank You

Hi Happy Saturday! Hope everyone is staying warm here in the US. I know it is really cold out there across the country. I live in the AZ valley so it is pretty nice weather...Im lucky now but in the summer it can be brutal...our wintertime...where you stay inside.

So this is a card that I made for my sister who recently mailed a bunch of goodies to me and my daughter. It was very sweet. So I have a few things to mail back to her and I will place this card in the box. She loved my christmas card and her birthday card that I sent her this past holiday. So I am using some of the same die cuts.

I had to use the sketch from Mojo Monday that is being used at scrapbook.com Feb inspirational card challenge. I do love lots of layering.

A closer view.

Here is the sketch! Thx Julee!

Have a great weekend!

A Boujee Happy Birthday

Hi! Good Morning! Today Im sharing with you this Boujee birthday card for my sister. Her birthday was last month and I sent this card, her green Christmas card and a few little goodies in a box. This card is totally her style and it was one of the most hardest card for me to make? Im not sure why ut it sure was a challenge. The ending result is shed LOVED it.

I lips are a steps that I bought years ago. I used gold ink and embossed it. The lipsticks, eyelashes and hearts were all in one die cut set. The gold paper is from Heartfelt Creations and it really shines.

You are One in a Melon!

Hi, Today Im sharing with you a new card for a colleague of mine who has taken several days of my call. I haven't really liked taking call for years and she has been a lifesaver. I wanted to make something with these adorable watermelon shakers and so the whole card was based around it.

I recently bought a bunch a papers on clearance from Echo Park...loved it! I have some left over flowers and I used some flourishes from Cheery Lynn Designs.

The sentiment was printed on the computer.

Here is the amazing Mojo Monday #538 sketch that I used by Julie...Thx

Im also entering this into Festive Friday FF0061
I used citrus fruits, flowers, green, pink, "sweet sentiment"

Deeper Than The Ocean

Hi! Today Im sharing a new card inspired by this week's Color Throwdown #595. I have obsessed with stripes and dots for quite some time now. I was originally thinking of Tiffany but then I decided to go with the ocean. I just love the water and have been missing it....see you soon...

I decided to put my sentiment on vellum to show the striped paper and added little bubbles.

Lace and of course pearls...the pearls are in the ocean...

A wave and some coral.

Thanks for the inspiration...

Not Today Virus

Hi! Sharing a quick post on a card that I started earlier this week and finally finished it today. Inspired by the Yep...Covid 19/Coronavirus. Yes, there are Real Monsters out there.

I used the Lawn Fawn sushi for my TP. I think it came out cuter than I expected.

A closer view....The monsters are from Echo Park...finally used them for the first time.

Sprinkled with Stardust

Hi! Hope everyone is enjoying a long weekend. Today, I was feeling sleepy all day and then after a quick cat nap, I seen this week's colors for the Cupcake Inspiration #494. Pink colors seem to work easy for me lately, so I also was inspired by a Chanel birthday theme.

I love the polka dots and stripes papers from Echo Park. The Recollections cream flowers have to be one of my favorite flowers because they are roses but are flatter.

The new Iridescent bubbles I recently bought from Lawn fawn are soooooo beautiful! I also used ny glitter brush on the dandelions for so more bling.

The inspirational colors....Thx

Thank You Nurses

Hi! Hope everyone is having a nice Monday. Well, Im still barely working and I will be off for the next few days too. Meanwhile I was looking around for some inspiration on different blog and I ran across Festive Friday National Nurses Day. I picked Red, Cross Shape, Appreciation Sentiment, Superheroes, Hearts, Medical Imagery, and Green. You only need 3 but I ended up with 7.

This is a dedication to all the nurses out there working hard with Covid 19 patients. I am also an RN but I work in surgery and since all elective cases are cxd at this time. I don't work as much....however when this passes it sure will super crazy!

So a closer view. I used polka dots on kraft to represent bandaids, stripes for candy strippers. LOL I actually had to read about my circuit for the superhero nurse. It had been years since I last used it...However it came out great

Until It's Gone!

Good Morning! Im sharing today a card that was inspired by all the TP craziness out there. Let me start off by saying by no means am I being disrespectful to anyone out there. I didn't hoard any TP myself but when I went to look for some... since I was on the last few rolls, it sure was hard to find. Luckily, this morning my hubby and I went early to the local grocery store and there was plenty. So if you live in Maricopa, AZ and need to get some I would happily send you in the right direction.

I seen this sign for a bathroom on Pinterest and just had to use the sentiment. The tiny TP was made from 1 inch of TP and one sheet. No wasting here. I planned on keeping this card black and white...but then I thought of "smells like roses" hence the red roses. I think this card can be used for someone who is grieving too or just something funny after all this craziness stops.

A closer view....typed sentiment up on the computer and again by no means I don't mean to disrespect  anyone out there.

Here are the sketches...used the last one on the right.
