Happy New Year 2023

Hi, Today I am sharing a card made for the Lawn Fawnatics #139. It was inspired by the board for the upcoming Happy New Year 2023. It is a shaker card and I was planning to mail it to my mother who loves kitties.

Here is the side view where you can really see the shine from the gold cardstock

Another view...I am not the best of coloring kitties but overall I think it came out good.

A Kitty Happy Birthday

Hello again!
Two day in a row for me...LOL This is a card that I made and mailed to my mother for her birthday today...I believe she received it yesterday with a box of goodies I sent her....She loves everything to do with cats and I had these kitty stickers for a while now....I decided to make a pop up card so she could look at it everyday.

A inside look....

A side look...the pop up box is from Divinity Designs...So very easy to put together too

Mokely

Hi! Sharing a new layout that I finished a few days back of my mother's favorite cat Mokely. He is now on Rainbow Bridge....I wanted to make a tribute page and plan on framing it in a shadow box for her to keep. Mokely had the most beautiful eyes! I used a couple of old papers and new flowers.

I also tried to add some journaling...I used to not put so much on my layouts...I sure want to do it more often now....after all that is what scrapbooking is all about right...pictures and the story.

A closer view....

So Sorry....Furry Friend

Hello again! Welcome back to another day sharing the new exclusive scrapbook.com stamp sets. These colors were inspired by another card that I made for a loss of a father. I love the earth tones and it makes me feel peaceful. So I decided to make this card softer with some flowers for the loss of a furry friend.

All the products can be found HERE.

Happy Birthday Mom

Hi sharing with you today I made for my mother's upcoming birthday. She loves shabby chic and vintage....but she LOVED this image of the cat (even though he is sick) LOL I bought the stamp set at the local card convention at the Art Impression booth. I hope she likes it as I am still learning to color with markers.

I used the Lawn Fawn gingham paper. The cat is the same color as the from of the stamp. After the fact I thought I should have made the cat orange because she loves orange cats. Oh well, next year!

I added some leftover flowers and fussy cut them smaller since that is all I have left in the stash....a really old set from Prima. I also mixed and matched die cuts and distressed the edges.  The background pair is from Lawn fawn and most of the items used here can be found at scrapbook.com
LOVE that store!

Furever Friends with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello again! I'm sharing today a cat card that was inspired by vintage old New York. I used lots of fun Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts, plus a few stamps that I fussy cut out. I have been wanting to use the "vintage books" for a while now. I thought the "paris sign" would be great for the sentiment.

I used some prima patterned paper and some cream and kraft cardstock. I then distressed the edges of the papers to give it an old worn out look. The "windows" were die cut out in black and then I placed cream paper behind it. The books were die cut in cream and then I distressed them with vintage ink.

I kept the same colors for the mouse, yarn and fishbowl. The cats were die cut out twice and I just used part of the cats for the top window.

Thanks for stopping but today!
Have a great day!
