Oh Star of Wonder...Star of Night

Hi Welcome back! It has been a while since I last was in my scrap room....first of all I was pretty sick all week....still a little bit left... second, my mother is in town visiting. Thank goodness she didn't get my cold!!! The card today was inspired by the sketch by Paper Players and the colors from Color Throwdown. Thank you both!

The sentiment is from Scrapbook.com. The adorable pine cones and pin branches are from Our Daily Bread. I have been looking for something like this for a long time now! The flowers are from Recollections and I had to add some bling.

Have Yourself A Merry Little Christmas

Hi! Been home with a serious sinus cold! So I wanted to make this card for days now. I bought the apartment die cut at my local card convention and wanted to make a holiday scene. The only thing I knew for sure was that I wanted to make the awning red and white.

I used the adorable Lawn Fawn stamps and die cuts. They are new this year.

The top sentiment and the cute frame are also from Lawn Fawn.

I added foam for a 3D effect.

Sending Joy for the Holidays

Hi, Hope you having a great Saturday! Today, I was able to play in my scrap room. I have been playing with these adorable Lawn Fawn stars but I especially LOVE the peek boo backdrop! I think because I can make multiple little scenes in the 4 sections. Also I love the stitched look.

The color theme was inspired by the Color Throwdown.

Holiday Greetings

Hi! Im so excited to share this new Lawn Fawn card. I have been getting lots of new stamps and die cuts lately. I was so happy to get the Peek A Boo Backdrop. I have seen it used a lot recently and I had to have it too. I thought it was perfect to make my little scenes for this week's Lawn Fawnatics Challenge 40- Color Inspiration.

I used some of the new Really Rainbow Christmas paper along with Lawn Fawn Winter Village and die cuts. I also used some old Lawn Fawn hillside borders and Ready Set Snow stamps.

Had fun making this adorable card! Thanks Lawn Fawn for the inspiration!

I was looking around for a new sketch and I love layering so I decided to just look back on Mojo Monday to see ones that I may not have made in the past....Needless to say I was excited to see that Julee has decided to make a new sketch aging for MOJO MONDAY #502, I missed the week before #501 but Im sure I will get to it soon.

Merry and Bright

Good Morning! Happy Monday...well, I wish I could say that Im home today crafting but Im not...off to work later this morning. I wanted to share with you a new card that is part of my stash going out this holiday season. It actually started off looking just HORRIBLE! However, somehow I was able to pull it together...now Im a bit happier.

I used lots of die cuts and layered them under the holly and flower. The trees are new from Rubbernecker Stamps that I just purchased on Sunday....with lots of other new goodies... The paper is from Our Daily Bread, it is their new Christmas paper collection for this year. The sentiment is from scrapbook.com called "Holly Jolly sentiments" I used their red hybrid ink to stamp it on the white paper.

A closer view with the cute little red dots that I seem to be going to a lot for decorating my trees this year....
Have a great day!

Sending Warm Wishes

Hi! Welcome back to my blog. I can't believe it has been almost a full week of no crafting? Well, yesterday I did go to the local card convention and sure did stock up on lots of goodies. Things I need right? Well, I wanted to make a card for the Lawn Fawn Challenge # 39 Bling it Out. Here is what I came up with for the challenge.

My bling was sequins and glitter pen on the trees. I just bought this adorable Yeti stamps and die cuts yesterday! Too cute! The sentiment  have had since last year and I used new papers from Lawn fawn too.

I also used stitched hillside and rectangle from Lawn Fawn. Here is the inspirational photo.

Adventure Awaits Inside

Hi Welcome back today to my blog! I recently joined the The Library Challenge's and today I seen the new book had changed to The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe Challenge #19. I knew I wanted to make a door card. I had forgotten the old size that I made for my fishing card...so I just made new dimensions.

Here is the front of the card. Pretty simple... 5.5 tall x 8.75 long and scored at 2 1/8 on both ends. The door pieces are all distress ink and I printed up the Narnia font from my computer. On the top I added a Martha Stewart punch. The door knobs are black bling.

Here is the inside....Lots of Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts and a Tim Holtz tree. The hillside border is from Lawn Fawn....one of my favorite die cuts. I kept one side blank for my own personal sentiment.
