Congrats with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello everyone! Can you believe it is that time the year when graduations are around the corner? Well in honor of all the graduates out there, I decided to make a quick box card using a few Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts.

The graduation set is perfect with the hat and diploma. The acorns and leaves have the best party swirls and the circle is great for a the sentiment.

A quick box card that you can add more colors, flowers and even stars...(didn't think of it until now)

Hope you enjoyed
Have a great day

Father's Day Wishes

Hi. Sharing today a tool box card that I have been wanting to make for years now. Since my father passed away a few years ago, it has been hard for me to make any Father's day cards. I bought these adorable die cuts from Our Daily Bread a while back and finally decided to bring them out.

The box card is 8.5 inches by 5.5 inches. Easy to make. I made my own cork background using kraft paper and a paper piercer. The sentiment is from Verve.

Lots of pop dots behind the drawers and tools.

Happy Birthday

Hi Welcome back! It has been a while since my last post. I finally was able to go to my scrap room to make this card for my daughter's puppy Kimber who is turning 1 tomorrow. She is having a puppy birthday part too!

Her dog is actually black but I wanted to make the card girly with flowers cake and pinks.

Also entering this card to this week's Cookie Challenge  #94

Jukebox with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Sharing a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs using the fabulous "Let's Go Retro" Release. This card is featuring the adorable jukebox. I wanted to use some colors so I added the fun colorful patterned papers in the background.

The french doily is behind the jukebox with the notes on the bottom.  I chose white instead of the traditional black. That's one the best part of die cuts....you can chose whatever colors you want. The sentiment was stamped in brown ink and fussy cut out.

Have a great day!

Be Yourself

Hi Happy Sunday! I just wanted to share this card with you all that I made this morning but I am now just finishing the post. We had guests and had a wonderful afternoon lunch with some old friends and family. Im still on my beach/ocean kick. I also was thinking of the colors red, white and blue for the upcoming 4th of July which happens to be my favorite holiday.

I just LOVE the Sea Animals by Spellbinders. The anchor and leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs. The hillside waves are from Lawn Fawn and I embossed the bubbles.

My favorite clear bubbles are my newest love too. The sentiment is in black ink.

Good Things

Hi Happy NSD! I was in the mood for flowers today. I wanted to use this month's Viva La Verve May 2018 sketch too. I look forward to the new sketches every month. Thx Julee! I was also inspired by this week's Cookie Challenge #93. Love the fairies and I thought I would try my coloring skills again...LOL

The papers are from Lawn Fawn and I die cut the the flowers and colored them to match the colors o the image. Gala Glitz in the centers. The sentiment is from Verve stamps. The banner, larger flowers and flourish are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used my favorite Martha Stewart punch in the center.

The beautiful sketch!

Cookie Challenge #93...The green was my inspiration color too.

Wonderful Birthday with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Today Im sharing another new card for Cheery Lynn Designs using the fun "Let's Go Retro" Release. For this birthday card, I only used 2 sets of die cuts, an embossing plate and a little patience. I sure do love how it came out! Lots of fun details.

The card is 5 x 5 inches and I layered with red and vintage papers. The 2 sentiments were stamped  next to each other. I also stamped a cupcake for the inside of the oven. I love how the oven opens up! There is a bit of acetate for the window door.

I added some star stamps and black bling dots for the doors and bottom of the stove.

Miss You "Ocean"

Hello, Well it's Monday which means it is my last day off till the weekend. I get every other 4 day weekend off...but it does mean it is a rough 4 days ahead. Blah! Today, I'm sharing a new card that I finished a bit ago inspired by the ocean/water that I miss so much. Instead of making one big scene I decided to make 2 scenes.

I was also practicing my coloring again with all the die cuts. Blending is getting easier too. I think I might actually become addicted to blending now? Actually I have always admired peeps that do it so well and could never grasp my mind around it....there may be hope? LOL

I added tiny clear bubbles...Love them! Lots of chip board plants, anchor and ship wheel.

Our Friendship...

Ahoy! Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I'm back to share a new card for my girlfriend before the leaves on her 2 month trip back home. I realize we are adults...but when we get together we act like little girls. So I thought using this fabulous Lawn Fawn stamps and die cut would be perfect!

This is my first time in trying to color and blend the inks together. I only blended the mountains but I can see it is not as hard as I thought? Although excuse some of the black smudging....I tried. I hope she doesn't notice either? LOL

The sentiment was printed on the computer and I used Clouds and Rain from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I'm the brunette and she is the Blond.

Hello Beach

Hello again! Sharing a new card for my stash using lots of die cuts again. This time only 7...LOL As the weather is getting warmer here in AZ...It makes me think about the beach. Both the ocean and the lakes. Since we go back to Chicago every 4th of July....Im thinking of Lake Michigan. Hello Beach!

I have been making some scenery cards lately and love it! I sure I will go back to my flowers soon! The adorable camper is part of the new release from Cheery Lynn Designs. I love coloring birds lately too. That is a side of me that is just coming out.

A closer view....
