Birthday Wishes

Hello again!
Today, Im sharing with you another card inspired by the beautiful sketch by Julee Tilman,
October 2017 Viva La Verve. I really miss Mojo Monday...However Im so glad to be using Julee's sketches. I have a couple more from Viva La Verve that I will soon. Thank you Julee!

I originally was planning to make an autumn card using the fabulous papers from Echo Park "A Perfect Autumn" I did use the teal paper in the background....then I was looking for flowers and I found the beautiful paper from Teresa Collins "Memories" that I had for quite some time. The grey and white rose paper complimented each other.

The flowers are from Recollections and the leaves are Rose Leaves from Cheery Lynn Designs. The stitched rectangle and square are also from Cheery Lynn Designs.
The sentiment is from Verve.
The ribbon is from Bo Bunny, that I won years ago....The punch is one of my favorites from Martha Stewart...I finished it up with a few pearls.

The fantastic sketch!

Happy Holidays

Hi! Sharing a new bendy card for the upcoming holidays!
I used the adorable penguins from Cheery Lynn Designs. I also made an igloo from a stitched circle, stitched ovals and the brick die cuts also from Cheery Lynn Designs.

Some of the trees are from Cheery Lynn Designs and the other trees are from Tim Holtz!
Love them! I added the curve before I glued it down using Lawn Fawn die cut.

The wave is also from Cherry Lynn Designs. The stamped sentiment is from Verve.

Here you can the back of the card using some icicles. I was thinking about adding more brick to the back of the card but then I thought it was a great place to leave a personal message instead.

I was asked by someone over at scrapbook.com for the measurements.
The base is 4.25 x 5.5 inches
The left side of the bendy measures 2.5 x 5.5 inches
The right/bottom side of the bendy measures 1.75 x 5.5 inches
The slits are 4 inches on the inside and 2 inches on the outside.
I cut a tab 1/4 inch by 1/4 inch
I used a pencil to draw the line  for the slits and then cut with an exact knife.
I wait to cut the both after the layering is finished.
That's it....First one is a bit tougher...but then it gets easier next time.

Christmas Greetings With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello! It's Lisa back today sharing a new card using lots of new die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs. This collection has been really fun to play with this month.  I know today is October 1st....however it's never to early to get going on holiday cards. It always seems to come faster every year....

I die cut 3 "twinkle trees" and 2 sets of "presents". The background was embossed using "snowflake 2" and "snowflake flurries" The adorable "santa" also has a cute elf too. I had to use the beautiful "swirls" from "acorns and leaves" The sentiment and doves are from Verve.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great week!

Halloween Door With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello crafters! Welcome back to another fun card using some new and old Cheery Lynn Designs Dies. The adorable "felines" are purrrrfect for Halloween! I wanted to use the screen door and then make an awning over the top. The awning was made by cutting 1/2 strips and curving the edges.

The cute ghost from "happy haunts" is a green goblin...lol  The sentiment from "Happy Halloween twiggy wreath" its the perfect size for the screen door.

The spider web (nest) also has an adorable spider too. I added some glittery ribbon and two sequins for the doorknob.

The bats are from "bat family". I used the 2nd and 3rd smallest bat and just dotted the eyes with a signo white pen. Then I bent them a bit and added glue to the center of the bats so they appeared to be flying off the awning.

Have a great day!

Pumpkin Spice "Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop"

Hello again! I'm back today with another card for the "Fall Coffee Lovers Blog Hop"
I recently bough these amazing papers from "Carta Bella" and it works so well with the theme of autumn/fall.

I used some of the new die cut from Cheery Lynn Designs called "Acorns and Leaves" plus the wonderful coffee mug from "Brew Can Do It" I stamped a pumpkin and the sentiment from Verve stamps....I colored the pumpkin with a orange copic marker.

It is slightly distressed ink"tea" on the center of the coffee mug and the sentiment on the Spellbinders die cut called "Floral Ovals" I did crimp the center of the coffee mug too.

I added some Martha Stewart punch on the edges of the paper and on the inside for a gift card.
Thanks so much for hopping by today!

The "Aspen Forest" will be one of my favs for sure with soon many different options to create scenic backgrounds. The adorable "fall pumpkins" are great to make a pumpkin patch. Along with the "twiggy wreath" there are so many ideas out there to make your "autumn/halloween cards" The background paper is from Martha Stewart that I purchased many years ago. It reminds me of all the beautiful colors in the midwest.  The inside I die cut "curved border" I have been making pockets for gift cards with it.

The "fishtail banner" is my go to banner for the perfect size to place my sentiment on...this one is from Verve stamps.
