Hi everyone! It has been a really super long time since I last posted anything on my blog...so sorry! Now that I have finished this last one I may move back to cards and layout that I love so much too!
So here i the front of the album it is a 7 x 7 inch by 5 inches thick in blues and white.

Lots of flowers, lace and pearls with cut little tags and mini albums inside. Most of the flowers are from Recollections with some petaloo and prima flowers too.

Vintage Mini Album *You Tube*

Hi everyone... tonight Im sharing with you my new Vintage Mini Album that I recently finished this weekend. I have lots of tiny mini's inside that was inspired by several mini albums out there. Thank you soooo much!! So many creative minds.... :) I wanted to make a new vintage mini album using lots of browns, golds and creams. I used many of my leftover flowers and the paper I bought at Walmart for $5.00...It is from Colorbok. This is a 6 x 6 paper bag mini album. I just use regular paper bags because I have so many in the house from when my children were younger....long time ago! lol
So here is the front cover using lots of flowers and a Tim Holtz metal piece.

Here is a side view using burlap on the spine....under it is cardstock reinforced a few times.

A few sneak peeks....the front inside page....

A few pages later....

Here is a new You Tube video too!
Thanks for watching!

Have a great week!

Hi everybody....sharing with you today a layout that I made of my little Roxy. It is a recent photo of her  that I insisted taking because she looked so cute that day. :) I wanted to do some inking and and playing around with masking paste on this layout. I usually dont get to messy with my layouts bit it was fun. The title came to me becasue she has been wearing her levi's blue jean shorts quite a bit lately.

Here is a closer view of lots of diecuts and flowers.

More flowers and a little inking and painting.

Silver Anniversary *TSTR # 165 Totally Textured*

Good Morning my scrappy friends! Today, I want to share with you a card that I made for
The Shabby Tea Room #165 "Totally Textured"  I was so honored by Debbie to Guest Design for this week using the inspirational photo below. We were also to add dry embossing and stitching. I used grey cardstock and embossed it with my favorite embossing folder. The stitching is faux using a white signo marker....someday I hope to learn how to sew... :)
The theme for my card is Silver Anniversary. I chose it because my 25th anniversary is coming up this July 25....wow! Did time go or what! My husband and I are planning a trip in July....we have a couple places in mind...still thinking on where we want to go for sure though.

Lots of layers like all the blankets in the photo. I also added two different laces and silver pearls throughout. The tiny roses, doilies and white leaves are from Cheery Lynn. All the chipboard pieces are from Donna Salazar. I decided to leave them plain to resemble the wicker basket in the photo. The larger roses are from prima...I just happened to have exactly two grey ones...perfect!

The stripped paper is from Donna Salazar's paper collection. I loved that it was grey and had the stripes to match the blanket right in the center, which was my focus for the color theme.

Here is the wonderful photo that helped me create this Silver Anniversary card today. Thank you!

Well, thanks for stopping by and I cant wait till my 25th anniversary on the 25th of July...
wait isn't that like a golden birthday too? lol
Have a great day!

Vintage Halloween Mini Album *First You Tube Video*

Hello everyone! I know it has been a while since I last posted. Sorry about that....I made this Vintage Halloween Mini Album last weekend and I really wanted to make my very first video tutorial to go with it...let me tell you it sure was a learning experience. I bought a tripod and then trying to talk somewhat like a normal person was tricky for me too. I need to work on my lighting more but for my first video, it was not as bad as a thought? So here is a photo of the cover of my mini....lots of black orange and creams.

Here is a couple of sneak peaks....

Lots of fun tags and embellishments....

So here it goes the premiere of my first You Tube Video....hope you enjoy!

Thanks for watching!

Mother's Kittens *GDT Cheery Lynn Designs*

Hello, It's Lisa with this week's card for Cheery Lynn Designs. I can't believe it is the end of the month already and my guest designing has already come to an end...wish it could last longer...although Im sure there are lots of ladies wanting to guest design too...good luck to you all! So here is my card that was inspired from this week's challenge...Mother's Day! I chose a mother cat and kittens because my mother LOVES cats and so this reminds me of her so much. In fact, this image also has 3 kittens and well, that is exactly like me and my two siblings. Love you mother!

I chose cream, white, pink and kraft for my color theme. My mother loves pinks and vintage so with all Cheery Lynn Diecuts this made this card perfect for her. I used 6 diecuts on this card:

I really love the miniature roses. They are super small and now I don't need to by those tiny roses anymore :) now I can make my own....love it. Remember a couple of weeks ago I mention getting more diecuts at the local convention??? Well, that is something I did. Besides getting the miniature roses, I also purchased the flourish leaf strip and a birdcage. Im so excited to use some of them today and I will be using them more in the near future :)

Well, thanks for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed my Mother's Day card made with all the wonderful Cheery Lynn Diecuts. I sure hope my mother loves it too! Have a wonderful Mother's Day!

Proud To Be An American!

This past weekend, I was thinking about the sad losses and the horrible tragedy of the Boston Marathon Runners, friends and family. It is still a shocking story to so many of us. It then reminded me of how strong our nation can come to together after even a horrific event. I was thinking of making a card for the Fourth of July soon. Not only is it my favorite Holiday but I wanted to remember all the men and women who fight for our country to keep it free. I then remembered the song by Lee Greenwood "Proud To Be An American". The song goes straight to my heart and always brings tears to my eyes. I once even seen the dancing fountains at the Bellagio, Las vegas...dance to this song. It was so beautiful and it will always touch me so very deeply. So this is a card to tribute to the friends, family and love ones in the Boston Marathon and to salute all the men and women who fight for us.
Thank You from the bottom of my heart!

This is a funky folded card that was designed by Cheryl. I haven't made one in a while and I really love how fast and easy it really is to make. I used lots of bling and spellbinders diecuts. The little stars I cut out twice and glued a piece of wire in between to hold them up. I then glittered them with fairy dust glitter by Donna Salazar. The papers are all from K & Company and I made more little Bitty Blossoms with the same paper line.

I even did the inside to match the outside with even more bling. This card really shines!

God Bless All of Us!
I'm so Proud To Be An American!
See you soon...

Farewell Heartfelt Wednesday's "Call Me"

Well, today I am sharing with you my last post with Heartfelt Creations. I have been with HC for 18 months now and well, this time when the new DT was chosen...I did not make it. I was a bit sad this past weekend, for I really try to make projects that I believe the scrapbooking/cardmakers enjoy. Perhaps the public is looking for something new and fresh...Well, I suppose it is not meant to be? Maybe God has a new plan for me in the future.... Meanwhile, I have really enjoyed being part of a wonderful company and I really hope all the best for the New Design Team.
So here is my final card made for HC, it is part of the new collection this month called "balmy breeze". It has wonderful beach stamps and these ducks that are super great for that guy in your life.

Im not much of a colorer...as I have mentioned in the past. But the neutrals were good to use with the background paper called "back country"

Here is a side view....with a little bit of pop dots.

Hope you have a great day...I sure will miss it all!
A big Thank You to all of my Heartfelt followers out there! I really have appreciated all your support and wonderful comments throughout the past 18 months...I read them all!

Take Life....

Hello, it is Monday again and today I made a card for this week's The Shabby Tea Room #163
"Spring Bliss". The colors are so cheerful and I wanted to cheer myself up a bit since this past weekend...Ive been a little sad....I will share the story soon....So this week was to use the colors, yellow, green and white/cream, also to use flowers and polka dots. Pretty easy to do flowers for me because Im addicted to them.

Here is the inspirational photo this week....beauty!

The paper is literally a scrap piece from an old project and it was perfect for the yellow polka dots. I also made a small circles in the centers of my daisies. I added pearls around the whole 5 x 5 card.
The leaves, small flowers and doily are from Cheery Lynn Designs and the daisies, stamped tea cups and small tags are from Heartfelt Creations... I wanted to add the tags to the tea cups to resemble tea bags with the sentiment "Take Life...One Tea Cup At A Time"

A closer view...
I added the green sheer ribbon on the bottom that I really thought it looked like the wine glass....

Im hoping to cheer up soon...be back soon...

Spring Makes the Heart Sing *GDT Cheery Lynn Designs*

Hi...so is everyone ready for spring already? Spring here in Arizona starts really in March where lots of parts of the country are still very cold....However, it's later April and I'm sure it has to be finally getting nice for everyone. :) So today, I'm sharing with you a card made for Cheery Lynn Designs inspired by this week's challenge to use purple. I don't use purple a lot but I really like how this card came out using lots of Cheery Lynn Diecuts. They really are addicting! lol

Here is a closer view...I decided to use up some of my old prima flowers..you know the ones you mostly used and then have a few stragglers around? Well, here they are being used to enhance the intricate diecuts. The heart sentiment was printed on the computer with "scriptina" & "new times" I love pre-made sentiment stamps but I can never find the right size that I want for cards? So I just find it easier to make them myself. :)

As you can see this card is not as bulky as some of my cards which makes it a great card to mail. The beautiful stamped image is from Heartfelt Creations...it is 2 different stamp sets "busy bee" & "antique essentials". I colored them with prismacolor pencils and added tiny pearls.
I used 5 diecuts from Cheery Lynn Designs:

Thanks for popping in to see my purple card!
Hope spring is there and it makes your heart sing too!
Have a great day!
