Designer Gift Card Purse #2

Ok, since this morning's tutorial I had the leftover pieces in black and I figured instead of making another Chanel inspired purse why not make a Gucci inspired purse? This purse is using the same basics except even easier! I just have the purse bottom and top in black. Then, I cut dark green and red paper in 1 inch for the bottom part (front and back) and the top part is 1 inch red and .5 inch green on each side (front and back). I added a gold brad and put the Velcro on top of the brad. The ribbon is just black satin with NO wire. Super fast and easy!

I had so much fun with these purses....which designer purse will be next? hum????

I'm So Lucky

Here is a card that I made last night. My inspiration came from Splitcoaststampers by a lady named Crystal. I changed it up a bit, but I loved the whole green theme....The quote is similar but I got the total quote off line...here.
I have ONE best friend, who totally gets me...we live 2000 miles away...but even if we don't talk for a while...we sure can catch up quick....like a soap opera! :) Love ya Pammy!
I have had these clover stickers since 2006...when I first started to scrapbook....I'm so glad I finally was able to use them and also that they still stick! lol
I don't own any clover paper, but I think the leaves in the background kind of work? The words have enhanced green in some areas....and also a different font too.
Not only do I have a pop dot problem but now I have a pearls problem too....gee...

The ribbon tie was something I just played around with...not perfect but maybe next time it will be?
Thanks for stopping by!

Thinking of You...Mother

Good Evening,
Today, I made this card for my mother....I have had this vintage paper for quite a while now and I knew it reminded me of my mother who loves pink, flowers and vintage items. So this week's sketch at splitcoaststampers was the perfect sketch for me to make this card for my mother. I used lots of spellbinders die cuts....gotta love em! :)
I also used vintage pearls. I hope my mother loves it! Love you mom!

The side angle of the card. It is much prettier in real life.....This is a 4 x 9 inch card...It will fit into a business envelope.

Here is the sketch...the ideas are endless....but as soon as I seen it, I knew exactly what I wanted to do....don't you just love it when that happens? Thanks Verve! And Amber!

Come on back for more Verve sketches and my interpretation of them!
Have a great weekend!

Thanks A Latte

Good evening! Yes I know it is late in the day....or in most places night....but I quickly put this card together for someone tomorrow...I really need to make more thank you cards so they are ready to go! lol
This is based on another old verve sketch...i cant stop going over there and get sketches...they truly are addicting! The best part for me is that since I just started to use them this month, I can go back to the whole year before anytime and get them.... :)
Sure you can use the same sketch over and over but I like making something new...

Here is a side view....the colors are really soft, but I cant seem to get the light right? hum?
These are GCD papers and they really are quite beautiful! I made the cup with my cricut and all the circles too! I have been using my spellbinders so much lately....my poor cricut felt neglected...also, I added cotton on the top for some extra froth..... :) Yum!

Thanks for stopping by! If you get the chance stop over and check out the amazing verve sketches!

There are pearls and ranger liquid pearls throughout....for the full instructions go to the Heartfelt Creation's Blog. This card is 4x6 and it is perfect for those spring tea parties or luncheons coming this spring!

Clean and Simple

Happy Sunday!
Well, over the past month I have been on a card roll and many of the designs came from Verve sketch challenges over at splitcoaststampers... I really love their sketches and this was my first time joining their group...I will back next month too! I didn't know this but supposedly Clean and Simple (CAS) cards are in right now? It was really a challenge for me but this is what I came up with....it was hard not to keep adding things...but the best part was it only took 10 minutes to make....it took longer to upload it! lol
This is a standard white card that come with an envelope...6.5inches x 5inches and I used another piece of white cardstock embossed it with swiss dots added the black spellbinders border and red spellbinders tag...then I cut out 2 hearts one white and one red layered them printed "I Love You" on the heart and added red stickles....of course there are pop dots... :)

Can you see the pop dots? I think if there is one scrapbooking item I should get stock on, it would be pop dots! lol

Here is the original sketch by Shannan at VLV...
Hope you enjoyed this CAS card and it is fast enough for you to still make for Valentine's Day or any other day you just want to say "I Love You"

Heartfelt Wednesday's

Hi,
Welcome to the last Wednesday of this month and my Heartfelt Creation project for this week are about my too doggies. My Italian Greyhound is now 10 years old and well, my sweet Rotty passes away several years ago. I still miss him....
Working with the NEW CHATEAU GATE COLLECTION was really fun for me....I love love love the new Die Cuts, Exclusively with Heartfelt Creations. As I was looking at the Dusty attic products I seen one of their windows and I thought..."Hey, I can make them similar by sing the die cuts?" They they are....gorgeous huh? I will be making more of these soon! The best part of these die cuts is that you can use any color paper to match your whole theme....cool! Also, you can use them over and over and over again for just one price! Even better.....

All the flowers are made by using HC products....I cant seem to stop making roses lately?
Although, I did add this lily in here....I wanted to give it a bit of something else....

This huge flower is "Botanical Floral 1 & 2"....and work perfect with the Rose Creations.

Here is a close-up of my doggie "Louie" he thinks he is a king....lol...
He was so tiny and adorable when he was a puppy...awwww!
Check out the window frame...pretty nice huh? Hence the title...
"How Much Are The Doggies In The Window" arf-arf...like the song....lol
For full instructions on how to make this layout go to the HC Blog....

Be sure to stop over at Heartfelt Creations Blog for more inspiration and to get your Chateau Gate Collection too!
Have a great day!

Heaven's Winter Roses

Ok, so I didn't think I would make another card so quickly....but it just fell right into place...love it! So this is an old verve sketch again....I am totally addicted to their amazing sketches!
I had made these purple roses originally for a scrapbook layout....however, it happened to be right before Christmas and the sad death in our family....so when I went back to finish the lo, well, it just didn't come together...so I just scrapped that idea and put the roses to the side....until today...yay! I was inspired to make this winter card by 2 people....my sister said that another winter storm went through Chicago...brrrr! and a sweet lady Maria over at sb.com had the most stunning photo of her view in Sweden....it was breathtaking!
This tall skinny card was super fun to make....thx verve and ladies!

Another angle, you can see how this card is really cool in size! This cut is 3.5 inches wide by 6 inches tall....just cut 3.5 inch inches wide from a 12 inch cardstock and fold in half....easy...

Hope you enjoyed my winter card and for those of you who live in those cold climates stay warm!

You Melt My Heart

Good Morning...Happy Sunday!
So last night I was in another chocolate mode...I think I finally have had enough? lol I recently seen the Basic Grey ad in my scrapbooks etc magazine and I loved the example from kissing booth papers. I dont own of those papers yet.... meanwhile I decided to use chocolate and teal together....I wanted to use another color for valentine's day that was not pink or red....
I actually didnt own the brown ribbon...i had to buy it....totally great color for v-day!

I added stickles throughout and doodled with a brown marker for stitches...someday I plan on taking a sewing class....

Hope you enjoyed another chocolate card!

A "Manly" Valentine Card

Good Afternoon,
Im here today with a "Manly" valentine card for your special man in your life. I LOVE flowers but I really wanted to make a card that focused more on looking like a guy kind of card. It does have ribbon and hearts....I cant totally make it girl free....lol
I used Graphic 45- A Proper Gentlemen cardstock...it was perfect for the theme I was going for today. I added red and black paper to give it a bit of a romantic feel too...
This card is for the VLVJAN2012 #3 sketch @ verve....i just love their sketches..... :)

As you can see I added pop dots for a bit of a 3d look....ok i admit im addicted to them....

Hope you are inspired by my "Manly" Valentine.....TFL
