Miss You "Ocean"

Hello, Well it's Monday which means it is my last day off till the weekend. I get every other 4 day weekend off...but it does mean it is a rough 4 days ahead. Blah! Today, I'm sharing a new card that I finished a bit ago inspired by the ocean/water that I miss so much. Instead of making one big scene I decided to make 2 scenes.

I was also practicing my coloring again with all the die cuts. Blending is getting easier too. I think I might actually become addicted to blending now? Actually I have always admired peeps that do it so well and could never grasp my mind around it....there may be hope? LOL

I added tiny clear bubbles...Love them! Lots of chip board plants, anchor and ship wheel.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Our Friendship...

Ahoy! Well, it is Sunday afternoon and I'm back to share a new card for my girlfriend before the leaves on her 2 month trip back home. I realize we are adults...but when we get together we act like little girls. So I thought using this fabulous Lawn Fawn stamps and die cut would be perfect!

This is my first time in trying to color and blend the inks together. I only blended the mountains but I can see it is not as hard as I thought? Although excuse some of the black smudging....I tried. I hope she doesn't notice either? LOL

The sentiment was printed on the computer and I used Clouds and Rain from Cheery Lynn Designs.
I'm the brunette and she is the Blond.

Hello Beach

Hello again! Sharing a new card for my stash using lots of die cuts again. This time only 7...LOL As the weather is getting warmer here in AZ...It makes me think about the beach. Both the ocean and the lakes. Since we go back to Chicago every 4th of July....Im thinking of Lake Michigan. Hello Beach!

I have been making some scenery cards lately and love it! I sure I will go back to my flowers soon! The adorable camper is part of the new release from Cheery Lynn Designs. I love coloring birds lately too. That is a side of me that is just coming out.

Thank You Denae

Hello Happy Friday! Today, I'm sharing with you a new card for a special young lady who is my dog trainer. Tomorrow is our last private lesson class for my German Shepard Jaeger. So I wanted to make a fun thank you card for her. I hope she enjoys it.

I used 11 die cuts on this card. I have been enjoying making these fun scene cards and no patterned paper involved! Love it! I used Cheery Lynn Designs: whimsical sun and clouds, baby's breath, mini dimensional butterflies with wings, victorian fence, grass 2, pet pack. Memory Box: swirly tree, Lawn Fawn: Puffy Clouds, Our Daily Bread: grass border, Impression Obsession: dogs, Spellbinders: Standard Circle.

I colored the dogs with a copic marker. I originally had the dogs in black but then I decided to make them black and white to match the paw print and butterflies.

Your Bee-utiful

Hi everyone! Today I wanted to share a card that I just finished. It was inspired by this week's Cookie Challenge # 92. at If You Give a Crafter a Cookie. I recently purchased these beautiful flowers from 49 Market. So I thought they would be perfect for this bee card.

I was looking though my stash and found the striped paper that is part of a Christmas collection. LOL
The honeycomb and banner are from Cheery Lynn Designs. The adorable bee's are from Heartfelt Creations. I just colored them yellow and fussy cut them out. The sentiment was printed on the computer.

I also used my favorite punch from Martha Stewart.

The adorable cookies!

I'm also entering this card into Tic Tac Toe Challenge

"I Robot" with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Welcome back to another card using the new release from Cheery Lynn Designs! These new retro die cuts are really adorable and I love how this card is perfect for a boy. It is really hard for me to make cards that do not have flowers, ribbon, or pearls. So, if you are looking to find something for boys these new die cuts are perfect for you!

The robots, the small circle and the rocket have pop dots behind them all. Lots of tiny details but worth the end result.

Hope you enjoyed!

The Beach (Lift)

Happy Sunday!
I hope you are having a wonderful weekend. I have been busy making new cards for Cheery Lynn Designs for an upcoming new release. Be sure to check it out! Meanwhile, I get some inspiration from Pinterest as many other do too. I was looking forward to my upcoming Chicago trip when I seen this AMAZING beach scene and just had to lift it! I Loved the colors and all the tiny details.

I used 10 different die cuts from Cheery Lynn Designs; Birds of the Earth and Sky, Wave Edger, Fishing Boat Set, Cattails and Reeds, Baby's Breath Flower Kit, Surf's Up to Impression Obsession; Sailboats, Sea Birds to Lawn Fawn; Stitched Hillside Boarders and Spellbinders; Sea Animals.

I colored the birds with markers and as I placed it all together on the front of the card I realized I had no room for a sentiment, oh my!... I also placed the same few layers of the scene on the inside too.

A closer view.....and I added this adorable crab with bling eyes.... I used cattails in yellow and colored the green stems with a marker. Lastly, I colored a piece of plastic mesh in yellow.

The gorgeous lift! Thank you for sharing, it is one of the most beautiful beach cards I have ever seen!
I looked and looked to see who originally made it...no luck so far? If anyone knows or if you are the one...please let me have the link so I can post on the blog. Thx again!

Happy Shower with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi, Welcome back for another new card for Cheery Lynn Designs. I originally was thinking about April showers and then I started to think about all the baby showers that are this month. So I combined the two into one card. I wanted to make it baby blues but with some girly accents.

I colored the rain drops and then added a glitter pen for extra shine. I also did that on the flourishes too. In the centers of the flowers is teal gala glitz. Be sure to get this adorable umbrella for your collection because it is on clearance.

Welcome Baby!

Hi everyone! Hope your weekend is great! I'm on call today so I thought I would just play in my scrap room until I get called into work? Keeping fingers crossed I can play all day..... Meanwhile, I decided to start making all those baby cards for peeps I know having babies soon. This card was inspired by this month's sketch at April Viva La Verve 2018. I look forward to the sketch every month!

I decided to make a nautical card for the baby, since summer is around the corner. It seems I love to make those type of cards. Probably because I love the water....although I do live in the desert, Go figure? lol

I added the waves and bling for bubbles.

The beautiful sketch! Thx Julee!

Hello with Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello! Springtime is in the air! So I thought I would make a springtime card scene using lots of Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. This card is 4.25 x 6 inches. I typically make 5 x 6, but with the stitched rectangle frame I made it a bit smaller.

A couple of clouds, a whimsical tree, fence, a cat, grass 2, a butterfly, and tiny flowers it really came together quite quickly.

I added tiny pearls to the centers of all the flowers.

The sentiment was stamped in brown ink and fussy cut out. Tip:( I cut out the tree in green and colored the tree and branches in brown ink. I also cut out the cat in green and colored it brown to match the tree) :)
