Hi everyone!
Today, I was in my scrap room and decided to make a card for my Aunt's Birthday that is on the 4th of July! It is also  my favorite holiday of the year! This year we will once again be in Chicago enjoying the lake front and family. The sketch was inspired from Mojo Monday #498 this week.

The stamped balloon I bought a while back and I just stamped the sentiment in red ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. The amazing papers are from Doodlebug called "patriotic parade" The stars are from Cheery Lynn Designs called "pierced stars"

I added some rhinestone bling and a few sequins.....

The awesome sketch! Thx!

Have a great day and weekend!

"Summer Blog Hop" With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi Welcome back to a new "Summer Blog Hop" with Cheery Lynn Designs
If you are coming from Julie's Blog you are  in the right spot.
I really had fun making this beach Z fold card. I recently made one for Cheery Lynn Designs with a garden theme and so I decided I wanted to make another card using the"wave edger".

I used 2 palm trees, 3 chairs, 3 clouds, 1 umbrella, 2 shells, 1 beach ball, 2 surf boards,  5 pieces of greenery, 1 small drink umbrella and the adorable sun! I love the beach!

Here is the card folded up and it measures 4.5 x 5.5 inches. Open it measures 4.5 x 11 inches.

Folded up to be mailed!

Hope you enjoyed!
Next on your hop is Cherry's Blog...

Sea You Soon!

Hi! Hope you had a great weekend! I have been creating just not posting. Be sure to check back the next few days with lots of summer cards. So today I was working hard on this card for a friend of mine who is leaving for  the next couple of month's in Europe to visit her family....I sure will miss my friend....sigh.... Meanwhile...I used the sketch from Mojo Monday # 497. It started off the same then took a bit of a twist...

As some of you may know, I LOVE anything to do with the water, beach, ocean, nautical...etc
Well, so does my girlfriend who is leaving for most of the summer....So I thought "Sea You Soon" was perfect title to the card.

I bought the chipboard pieces a while ago when I made a little book from Michael's. The flowers I bought on clearance through The banner I printed on the computer and used my favorite die cut "fishtail banner" from Cheery Lynn Designs. The stamped anchor and wheel have matching die cuts from Verve.

The elegant swirls are from Heartfelt Creations called "belle rose" The mesh in the background is also from Cheery Lynn Designs. The gorgeous papers are from CraftSmith called "seaglass" I added sequins for little bubbles and a little bling...

Here is the inspirational sketch...thanks again Julee!

Have a great day!

Goodbyes...With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Its Lisa back today sharing a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs.
So many times I need a last minute card for a loss for someone. I have used this sentiment in the past for a colleague leaving. Yet, I was thinking that it is a beautiful sentiment for a loss of a loved one or a pet. That was my inspiration using the beautiful angel "wings"

The oval "mirror mirror doily" has such a detailed frame and the perfect inside for any sentiment. When I think of a loss I often think of the color green....I guess back to earth....

Closer views.
Sharing the paw print stamp with the detailed "circle".
Sorry about the color changes.....late in the evening....
Added a few pearls and ribbon.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Hope you were inspired but not saddened....
Have a great Friday!

You Make Me Smile With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Welcome back to a fun new card for Cheery Lynn Designs
I have been busy with life and family lately so I believe I had lost my Mojo for a bit....But today I think it came least for a little while!
I wanted to make a straight Z Fold Card for some time now...who would have known it would be super fast and easy.... this is a 4.5 inch x 11 inches. You just fold it in half and then half again.
The bottom is the 2 inches x 11 inches, fold it the same and you place it the opposite way to create the little box. I added a little center for extra flowers...

I used 5 different die cuts..."victorian fence" "whimsical tree of life" "whimsical sun and cloud" "garden gate" and "floral bouquet kit" The colors were scream "springtime" to me!

I cut out 2 trees, one sun, one each of the clouds and one extra cloud, 2 sets of the small and larger flowers in pink, purple and yellow, 5 sets of small and large leaves, one garden gate and one big strip of the victorian fence with a little bit extra to finish to the end.

Here you can see it is flat for easy mailing...the sentiment I stamped over the top of the cloud and tree. In the centers are silver gala glitz and the sun eyes are silver brads to match the gala glitz.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a wonderful week!
