Graphic 45 Midnight Masquerade Meets Heartfelt Creations Flip Fold Album

Hi everyone!
Today, Im sharing with you a project that I worked on this weekend with the new Graphic 45 Midnight Masquerade! I seen it released on scrapbook.com and knew I had to have it immediately! I seen it at CHA and the colors really are this bright and beautiful. I ordered the paper pack on Thursday and picked it up in person on Friday afternoon because I knew I wanted to play with it.
So, here is my mini album...actually it is pretty big compared to other minis...it is 7 x9 inches and 2.5 inches wide. I used a Flip Fold Album with A, B and C inserts in kraft. It sure makes it faster to decorate with all the pre made pieces.

I had most of these flowers and today I had to buy more just because I used so much stash but also because I wanted to decorate a few more pages inside. Since some of the flowers had pearls I decided to add some pearl swirls.

Some fussy cutting here.

Love the Graphic 45 door hinge in shabby chic

A side view...just LOVE the colors!!!

Close up of the spine....with a chain of keys

There are 3 keys total

The ribbon is to close the album but you don't have to do it because the album is very thick

First page ....using lots of tags and inserts

Second page...this inside will actually flip open...lots of room for photos.Pocket insert that also flips open...tags throughout

I fussy cut out the lady and placed a tag and envelope behind her....lots of magnets used too.

Another page with tags....as you can see a few pages not completely finished....maybe I will leave them plain for photos?

Back page with a tag and a place for keepsake... If you look closely on all the pages there is even papers on the spine pages.

Back cover...

Thanks so much for stopping by today!
Hope you are inspired to get this new Graphic 45 collection!
I usually have leftover pieces of paper from a collection....but not for this mini!
Have a great day!

Farm Fresh With Graphic 45

Hi!
I'm sooo excited to share with you my latest mini album inspired by Graphic 45 "Home Sweet Home" Papers. As some of you may already know I have been trying to purge all my Graphic 45 papers since I have hoarded them for so long. I happy to say I so glad to let them go because they are so beautiful. This mini album was inspired by my daughter. It was her birthday this past weekend and I asked her what she wanted to have for dinner? She told me she had two favorite homemade dinners and couldn't decide on which one she wanted more....

Needless to say, she picked one and that is when I decided that I need to have a cookbook with not only my recipes but both Grandmothers legendary recipes that need to be passed down into the family. I was thinking not only are pictures important....but so are family traditions.

The front cover...I went a bit crazy with all the flowers and I also wanted to place a key hole in the front...representing "The Key Ingredient"

On the spine I had thought of adding some charms but then I decided to show off that beautiful paper. The green roses I have had for a while, I think they look like cabbages! Perfect for my theme....LOL

The actual chipboard album is 7inches wide x 2 inches spine  x 5 inches high.
There is ribbon on the edges to ties it together

The back of the album with more flowers and my personal stamp "Handmade With Love"

Another angle of the back showing some dimension

First inside page, lots of flowers and several cute tags for photos or recipes that are part of the collection.  The green leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs Die cuts.
The Graphic 45 tags are5 x 5 inches and this part of the album was inspired by Donna Espirtu.
I didn't want the tags hanging out but I loved the look and they are already to go...decorate and ribbons. Boy or boy did I have to read about making a spine for the inside! LOL I thought I knew how...nope! I tore it all apart and found a great video on You Tube you can find HERE
Thank you!

Second page, you can see one of the recipes here. It does come out. I added the borders using a Martha Stewart punch, distressed the edges with vintage ink and added some borders to the bottoms.

I have approximately 12 favorite recipes to go in the album. I placed one in the back and then on the bottom cut up the stamps and placed pop dots behind them

Another hidden recipe and more tags...

I have had this set of chipboard wooden roller and whisk that I have been saving to use with these papers...I just inked them with the same vintage ink and placed them in the pockets.

The back inside of the album...also with my husband's favorite holiday cookie recipe...

With the album open...lots of room for more recipes!
Hope you enjoyed!
I will try to make a You Tube Video soon!
Have a great day!

The Wedding Card

Hi everyone!
I have been waiting and waiting for my daughter to send me the professional photos of her wedding. Well this is one that one of the guests sent me and I wanted to share it with you all! The theme of her wedding was vintage/ western. Her dress and veil were custom and she was stunning! I'm so happy for the two of them!

Here it the card that was made for them...it hasn't been blogged yet because I was waiting for pictures. However when I seen the Card Concept inspiration I figured I could share since it met the theme.

I would say this card is not only vintage but for sure shabby chic.

The hearts are from Heartfelt Creations and the leaves from Cheery Lynn Designs. I added some lace with bling from a friend of mine...hugs! The flowers are all  pre made and I used Prima papers.
Last but not least....pearls!

 The card concept this week!

Thanks for stopping by....Hope to get some scrapbooking done in the future with
My daughters wedding!
Have a great day!

Easter Baskets With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! It's still February but who is ready for Spring!
Here is Arizona it is been pretty nice, but I watch the weather and it appears that winter is still here almost everywhere else...
So, here is a springtime project you can make pretty easy using lots of
Cheery Lynn Designs Die Cuts.
Fun little Easter baskets using "Scalloped Party Favor Box"

I have been checking out the little box for some time now and I finally decided to make baskets with them. I cut the favor box in kraft and then stamped a basket pattern on top with brown ink. The handle is "siena double edge border" and was also cut in kraft paper.

I debated between chocolate bunnies and white "bunnies"? White bunny won...because of the basket color...but there are so many options. Little google eyes are a must for me. I used the smallest flower from "floral bouquet kit" in teal and purple with gala glitz in the centers.

Lastly, 2 sets per basket of the "flourish 13" Love that leaf die cut!

Here is the back of the "favor box" I added some green grass in the centers.
Candy of your choice! Great gift to pass out...

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Baby Boy!

Hi!
Thanks for stopping by this evening for a card that I made yesterday afternoon inspired by Mojo Monday #484. Posting it today and it is for another colleague having a baby boy! It is her first baby so I wanted to make a special card for her...last year I had 3 colleagues having boys and so I was running out of ideas for boy cards because I didn't want to add bows and flowers....lol

The papers are from Graphic 45 that I received in a bundle of goodies at a scrap convention....
The adorable stamps are from Lawn Fawn and I used my Cheery Lynn Dies for the stars and stitched squares. The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn "bundle"

On the inside I have been making several of the same designs with a few different punches....
It is so nice for gift cards....

A closer view with pop dots....

The great sketch this week!

Have a great evening see you soon!

XOXO

Hi!
I hope everyone is having a wonderful weekend. This weekend is a short weekend for me....only Saturday and Sunday off...WAAA! I guess I get spoiled from my 4 day weekends. I made this card this morning inspired by Cupcake Inspiration Challenge 394 and Valentines Day that is just around the corner. I have been using lots of my Graphic 45 papers lately and now I don't understand why I had hoarded them for so long? The patterns are beautiful and it makes card making easier.

The beautiful intricate heart is from Our Daily Bread. I sure wanted to bring it out for this holiday. You know I have to say that even though my scrap room is organized....well, I sometimes forget what I have and own....very sad....

The roses are two different kinds, one is paper roses that I bought from Michaels and the other type are felt roses...I wanted to mix the textures up a bit. All the green leaves are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I used a flourish strip and floral bouquet kit.

The center heart I stamped "xoxo" from Love Notes by Verve. I really LOVE that stamp set....
Pun not intended ...LOL

Here is a closer view of the flower spray....have to Love red roses for Valentines Day

A bit fluffy to mail in a regular envelope....but can be put in a nice bubble envelope for safe traveling.

Here is the color cupcake inspiration....Love the little hearts on the cupcakes.

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day!

Love With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi! Welcome back to my latest card for Cheery Lynn Designs
Do you feel the Love in the air? Well it's almost Valentine's Day and Im hoping you have someone special in your life to spend the day or evening with...a loved one, a child, or even your pet.

I used 4 different dies to make this card. I was thinking distressed edges with stitching would look kind of cool. So I sued the rectangles and the squares. The banner is one of my all time favorites and the hearts are super detailed...had to do three. Stamped in red ink the sentiment and the hearts. A bit of bling and ta da! Done!

Thanks for stopping by today!
Have a great day and weekend!
