Spooky Dresser With Cheery Lynn Designs

BOO!
Today, Im sharing with you a super fast card for this Halloween season!
I have seen some similar card on line and this card was made using all Cheery Lynn Designs
 die cuts.

I first card the base of the card which is 5 x 6 inches. Then I diet the 4th smallest "rectangle" twice and cut them in half. You should have 4 pieces, I used 3 of them. Next chalk the edges in white. Add a white dot or button for the drawer handles.

The "ghosts" are part of the "ultimate Halloween' die cut set. Lots of goodies in that pack! I diet the ghosts 3 times and place a piece of black cardstock behind the eyes with a pop dot. The "boo" sentiment was die cut in paper wand then I die cut it again in foam to pop it up with some red tickles for the blood drippings....EW!

Tropical Note

Hello!
Today Im sharing with you a new card that is inspired from another sketch at
Viva La Verve September 2016. I wanted to make it last week but the week got away from me. So, I decided to make the second sketch of the month first and then go back to this sketch second. I had originally planned to make another Halloween card. However, since the summer is finally coming to an end here in sunny AZ, I decided to make one more summer card using beach colored patterned papers. Thinking Hawaii

The papers are from Craft Smith called Sea-glass. I love the texture and all the really pretty colors in this pack. I believe I picked it up at Walmart? In the background there are beautiful tropical flowers so I just fussy cut them out (2 different sizes) and the the center piece. I layered pop dots behind the layers. Behind the flowers is one of my favorite spellbinders die cuts Lacey Circles.

The sentiment is a great stamp to have for a general all purpose card. It was stamped them fussy cut out. The foliage is from Cheery Lynn Designs called Floral Bouquet Kit. Originally I just die cut out the leaves in green paper but then....I decided to added more foliage in cream paper. It looked a bit plain so I colored the tips with a topic marker to match the teal and...TA DA! Love it.

Here is the wonderful sketch! Thank you!

Thanks So Much!

Hello again!
So this morning I shared another baby boy card and afterwards I wanted to make a card using the sketch from Viva La Verve September 2016. I haven't made a card for my stash in quite some time. The sketches always help me get inspired and this Friday was great to use my brand new stamp roses and leaves from Heartfelt Creations!

My girlfriend and I went to the local Mesa Arizona Scrap Expo and I knew I wanted the latest Roses. They are embossed in white to match the paper that I bought a bit back for $5.00 at Walmart. There are so many beautiful papers in the pack and this piece of paper was double sided so I was able to use the flower patterned paper and stripes with one piece of paper.

I even had extra pieces to do the inside. The doilies are from Cheery Lynn Designs called French Pastry and French Pastry Tini. I stamped a sentiment with pink ink and then embossed it with clear embossing powder. The cute "thanks so much" is from Verve Stamps. I believe it was a little extra stamp from Julee with my order. Thanks So Much!!!

A closer view of the gorgeous layered flowers with leaves. I do love the swirls too!

Here is the wonderful sketch! Thank you
I was planning to use only one flower but I couldn't help myself and I added another....

Hope you enjoyed!

It's A Boy! Choo Choo

Hi! Happy Sunday!
Today Im sharing with you the last of a bunch of boy cards for my colleagues at work.
I really had a hard time thinking of one more card so I decided to card lift this one from Pinterest.
You can see the original one HERE. Thank you!
I really loved how the clouds looked in the background. I used my Lawn Fawn Puffy Clouds.
The sentiment is also from Lawn Fawn Bundle Stamps.

The pierced lines on top and bottom was made using a piercer and template from Stamping Up!
The train and clouds are from Cheery Lynn Designs. I added some white liquid appliqué for the puffy clouds and chalked the edges with Tim Holtz distressing ink Denim.

I couldn't help myself and I added the triple/double looped ribbon to the top. The felt ribbon on the bottom and I cut blue card stock with a punch for the gift card. Lastly I added some clear buttons.

Happy Halloween With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hi everyone! Welcome back! Today Im sharing with you a new card for Cheery Lynn Designs using a new "halloween ghost" die cut. There are actually 2 other ghosts but I kept mine all the same. You can see in the background the "twiggy wreath" and "sentiment" which is perfect for Halloween cards.

The adorable flowers are "sweet christine" and I added a black center. I love the leaves from "flourish #13" and decided to make them black to match the theme.

Have to mention loving this line of patterned papers from Graphic 45 too.  The bling was to represent the wind from the ghosts.

A Wicked Invitation With Cheery Lynn Designs

Hello!
Today Im sharing with you a fun Halloween Invitation using a few old and new Cheery Lynn Designs die cuts. The adorable "whimsical spiders' are so fun! I placed some google eyes on them for more of a whimsical look. I love the grouchy spider in the center on the "pierced circle"

The "spiderweb" was embossed 3 different spots to the plain paper and then die cut in black in the center. I then placed a banner using font from the computer and chalked the edges.

Inside is the invitation using the same font and more of the spiderweb cut for the corners.

A closer view of the grumpy "spider" and the "pierced circle".

Also more of the "spiders"with webs that I colored with a white marker.
