Thanks! Mojo Monday #378

Happy Holiday everyone!
I hope you are having a great holiday season with family and friends.
Today, Im sharing with a new card made for this week's Mojo Monday #378.
A beautiful sketch as always and lots of layers on my card. I originally was planning on making a
New Years Eve card, however it took a turn a twist into more of a country shabby look? I dont have any thank you cards in my stash, so I figured I sure could use some quickly.

The papers are from Donna Salazar, I have had them for a while now.
They match up so nicely!

The wooden clock is part of my stash, sorry I dont remember who made it :(
Added ribbon and pearls....but no flowers! lol
I fussy cut some extra butterflies from an extra patterned paper and placed pop dots behind them.

I used the same paper in the front for the inside too....it is just beautiful!

Here is wonderful sketch this week!

...And To All A Good Night!

Good afternoon everyone!
Happy Monday!
Today, Im sharing with you a new card I just finished for the holiday season. It was inspired once again by Mojo Monday #375. I love the sketches and it always helps me get started. When I seen the circle in the middle, I knew I wanted to make a wreath. So here was my problem? My cricut died and I always used it for my circles....so luckily I have lacey circles from spellbinders. So, I printed up my font then cut it out with my diecut and added all the branches and pearls. whew!!!

The papers are vintage in colors, so I chose a cream for the background. It always looks white for some reason when I take a photo? hummm..well it is cream.

I added some cream lace and added more of the font for the bottom of the card.

Inside I added the spellbinders icicles until I finish the rest of the card.

Here is the fabulous sketch this week once again from
Julee Tilman!
Thx!

Have a great week!

Just Around The Corner!

Hello everyone, Happy Saturday!
Today, Im sharing with you a card inspired by this week's Mojo Monday #374!
I just cant believe that Christmas is just around the corner. Lots of red in my home this year so the colors of this card blend right in with my theme. I wanted to use some of my old old stickers that get thrown in the drawer and seem to never come back out again. The felt stickers are from Martha Stewart, Ive been wanting to use them for years and now I found the perfect card to use them.

The red foil letters are super shiny from thickers. I found an old snowman border and used a few snowflake diecuts from Cheery Lynn. I then added a ornament diecut with some ribbon and pearl for the christmas font.

I wanted to add some snow the the bottom of the snowmen for a 3D look. This is liquid applique and I heated it up with my heating tool.

Here is the fabulous sketch this week!
Thanks to Julee Tilman!

Have a great weekend!

Coming Soon! Happy Thanksgiving!

Hi everybody!
Today, I received a cute card from my mother, step father, sister and niece for the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday. It was a pretty card from papyrus. I have been in the dumps for a little bit because of some family issues, however, it was nice to feel supported and loved from other parts of the family. So I decided I was going to make a card to send back to my family in Chicago giving my thanks for the holiday. This card was inspired by Mojo Monday # 372 this week.

As you can see I added some extra pumpkins and leaves on the side....but no flowers! lol

Added some bling, and even embossed the kraft cardstock with a wood embosser but you unfortunately cant see it as well as I hoped....its cool like a autumn day! I know most of the USA has snow already, but we just turned on our heat yesterday here in AZ.

Here is the wonderful sketch this week!

Another BOO! To You!

Hello everyone!
Hope you are having a good Monday!
So for quite some time now, I have had lots family issues and had lost my Mojo.
Over this past weekend, I have been able to get some back!!
Here is a new card that I was able to make quickly for this week's Mojo Monday # 369.
Thank you for the inspiration!
I also wanted to enter it into this week's
Shabby Tea Room.... Inspiration below!

I used a simple black and white theme and lots of those fun glitter stickers.
As I was placing the ribbon around the card I really tried soooo hard not to add a flower!
I have an addiction to them so I ended up using a pearl. lol

So if you haven't noticed yet.....don't make fun of me but the patterned paper had paisley patterns both right side up and upside down. Naturally mine ended up on the wrong side!!! EEK!
I still like the way it came out though.

Here are my 2 inspirations for the week.
I made the 3.5 x 5.5 card.
I've made three of this size this weekend and its starting to grow on me!

Thanks for stopping by!
Be sure to check back soon for my other two cards and more to come!

Boo To You!

So today, I decided to keep my inspiration going from Mojo Monday and use this month's sketch by Julee Tilman. Im kind of feeling Halloween tonight? I always love making Halloween cards....it cant be too early right? lol...After all they have it already out at the local Hobby Lobby! So here is my card using purple, black, grey and white. I had to add some bling and the spider is a spider ring that I bought last year and I just cut off the ring part.

The papers I bought last year too the that flower has been waiting for years to be used! lol
I also used some kerlix (surgical dressing) for the creepy kind of webbing.

I used a spellbinder diecut and stamped "boo to you" in black with black onyx pearl stickers for that little extra something around the sentiment.

Here is the wonderful sketch....it sure is a mojo kicker! Thank you!

Thanks for stopping by!
Have a great week!

Im Back!

Hi!! Well, Im finally making a new post after a year now
I guess I was really burned out from making so many projects for so many years.
I just made this card yesterday for a friend. It is based on a sketch from Mojo Monday last month.
After I finished making the card, I realized that I do miss making projects. So Im really hoping to get back in the swing of things. For this card I used my favorite color RED!

Here is the side view:
I used lots of cherry lynn diecuts and the heart diecut in the center is from Heartfelt Creations

The roses are pre-made from recollections and the sentiment is a font on the computer.

Thanks for stopping by and see you soon again!
Have a great day!
